I dated a Libra once. I found that his style was a bit too laid back for me. Aries need action. When you talk to her, use tons of hand gestures and vary your voice tone and pitch. Do random things; she won't like being stuck in any type of routine.

As for gift-giving, she may like something a bit more unconventional. You say this will be your 3rd date, so why not surprise her by taking her to a theme park for the day? Or challenge her to a bowling match? Take her skydiving? Etc, etc.

I'm no Libra, but I know the Aries girl pretty well. Trust me, I knew one all too well for a year. This is what you do. If it's an occasion, that fact that you remembered will make sense to them, now you take it a step further by putting actual effort into it. Bake/Prepare her something good to eat, preferably a pastry and something that can be broken into parts so that she may show it off and/or share it with others. They like to show off what they receive. If you must get an actual gift, it has to be unique somehow with an engraving, customization, or entirely made by you. Avoid the cliches and as someone previously mentioned, anything that's typical or routine will be the end for you.

Many Aries people are so used to throwing money at things for the surface of sentiment that when it comes to meaning and actually putting yourself into it, it will fascinate them. Most Aries I know often gets their friends/lovers a generic card and/or takes their friends out to dinner and insist on paying for it. You gotta put some imagination and work into it if you want their attention. Be different and don't mime/copy them, they don't need another of themselves around, just be yourself and emphasize your personal qualities honestly. They'll come like a moth to the flame.
