"OK, to clarify a bit:
You simply do not owe anyone, anything, ever.

Whoever they are, you are in their life because it served them. It made their life better. This is what they wanted. You are not in their life because they wanted to serve you. You can feel good about this. It's the ultimate compliment.
Now, they are in your life because it served you. It made your life better. This is what you wanted. They were not initially, nor are they now primarily, in your life because you wanted to serve them. You can feel just as good about this. It makes the world go round.

That's just the way it works. And it's OK, if and when your needs and theirs, change. This also makes the world go round.

Hope that didn't hurt. You are Free!" -The Universe

Hi Freebird,

it's sounds a bit like soul groups. Essentially, the people we know; friends, lovers, family, even the people we dislike, are part of our soul group. People we continuously reincarnate with. . . the idea being we're all here to help each other grow. To progress. Even the people who pluck our last nerve lol, sometimes it's to make us better as an individuals.

In that sense some can say we don't "owe" each other anything. That we are here for each other's benefit. Of course that's purely from a spiritual view and sometimes, we get soooo attached to life that view light years away. Especially during the times the needs of our closest change color and find a new way.

Such is life though.

Interesting thought FB,

It isn't easy at first,
but one of the greatest gifts you could ever give someone who makes your heart soar, is the freedom to learn their own lessons, at their own pace.

Even trickier, is discovering that one of the greatest gifts you could ever give someone who gets on your nerves, is the freedom to learn their own lessons, at their own pace.

And perhaps most challenging of all, is understanding that one of the greatest gifts you could ever give yourself, is understanding that your heart soaring and your nerves fraying, have never been dependant upon other people and their lessons.

In all cases, I meant, ?besides chocolate?. ~The Universe
