so Im confused about my ARIES love interest

So im a capricorn male that is interested in this Aries female coworker. I ask for her number and she gives it to me right away. The days before i got the guts to ask for her number she was asking me what my plans for the weekend are and that she didnt have any plans. Now that we are texting I ask if shes single and she says yeah but she not looking to be with anybody. Is that just her being open to seeing me without getting too serious? Maybe shes been hurt too much and playing it safe? Do you think she is geniunely interested in being with me?

she says shes a homebody, so i think dating is out of the question till she gets to know me more.

Yeah, im thinking that she wants me to chase her. But im still really confused. She doesnt initiate any of the texts. She says she not looking to be with anybody. Then why the hell did she give me her number when i asked for it? Is it like I have to force her to start liking me? Im not overanalyzing this im just being real about this.

i dunno. I just feel like im not going anywhere. At least text me back once and say whats up. Im like really going out of my comfort zone to even get her number. i just dont want to keep pushing and get more involved if she really doesnt want anything. She seems like she likes me a lot in person. My parents are aries and they are not like this.

This what I tell my friends about texting. First, you never know if a person truly got it so don't freak out if there is no reply. Secondly, try to text questions so that a person can reply instead of messages that can be interpreted as a statement.

Several years ago I was engaged to a Capricorn man, as many times as I tried to tell him he didn't get this but he came across needy and it was very suffocating to me. I'm not saying this is what you're doing but just keep in mind. Lure her in with your confidence, become mysterious, and challenging at the moment. Aries wants freedom and together at the same time. If you push or force her she will run. Follow her pace, let her lead at the moment, but don't over show your interest in her either.

Aries are friendly people, but you asked for her number, which means YOU wanted to initiate something. I think she is just going with the flow and doesn't want to seem overly earnest so she doesn't give you the wrong impression; Aries women get the rep for being too aggressive. I think she was trying to be nice but told you she would play it by ear and clearly outlined her expectations right off the bat...what's there not to understand? She's not playing any games with you. I think you are mixing up intent with expectations. Relax and try and be her friend, gain her trust and go from there. I'm sure its nothing serious, she's just in a different phase in her life that's all.

1) "hopefully she realizes I'm a good guy for her"- let her be the decision of that.
2)Don't be too pushy because that will make her run in the other direction
3)Respect that she does not want anything serious, but you can still try to get to know her and be her friend....who knows maybe something will happen in the future, but never try to control or force anything, let things take its natural course

the whole passive mysterious thing doesn't work on aries women. Just ask her straight out what the deal is or let her know you like her and get to know her gradually. I think your ego is a little bruised here

I dunno what her deal is. She just got out of the military and she wants me to act really unemotional towards her. no, it's not that there is something wrong. Like Champ mentioned before, earth sign silence has many meanings...aries silence is straightforward. I think you are reading into it too much...maybe she is just busy or that's how she texts people. Often times I put one letter responses or emotes in my texts to friends, and they know its because I'm too lazy to type the entire thing lol.

I suspect her guarded nature is probably from your aggressive chase at the beginning, because as I understand, Taurus Moon goes by their own pace. You can't rush them or else they go even slower. Now you're giving her the cold shoulder which probably makes it worse because to her, you're being inconsistent.

Yep. I have Taurus Venus and I get deer in the headlights when someone moves really fast or persistently and I have no idea where I stand with them. If I have some interest, even then, it's like omg I'm not even sure if I want to go there atm. Slow the fuck down dude. :/
