Taurus woman's Aries man decide to split but plan to try again hopefully. Just need some insight.

There's so much to this story but I can't fit it all in here. So here goes. My boyfriend, until he moves to Florida in a couple days, decided to split. We had a great relationship but the trust got messed up. All we did was argue towards the end and it hit a head last week. So my issue is this: we've said that we are splitting to get ourselves back on our feet. We have been struggling financially for most of our relationship and we are both in bad situations. I have to move with my mother while he moves back to Florida. His family isn't the helping type so he can't stay with any of them. His mother is also dying of cancer and can go at any time. So his only resort is his ex wife. He assures me that she is a friend to him but I know for a fact that she wants him back. She's made a comment to his brother saying she was waiting for me to drop the ball. My boyfriend has a lot of respect for her and I can understand that. Also she is well off financially and can get him financially stable again. I've asked him if we can use this as a break and when we are straight again can he send for me and pick up where we left off. For the last couple days it's been "if the circumstances are right then sure it could happen". Can't lie, I'm not taking this too good. I'm constantly crying and everything. Just today was when he gave me more of a definite answer. I'm enrolling into a real estate program to become a real estate agent. He asked how long the program is. I told him. He then said if he is on his feet and has a place of his own and is able to fly me out to him he will. But i have a feeling it's just to stop my tears because I know it's making him feel horrible but I can't help it. I love everything about him and literally feel like I can't live without him. Can someone give me the honest to God's truth if he as an aries man is just saying this to pacify me or could he really means it?

Unfortunately we live in a world where money matters as many go after financial security rather than love. This aries needs financial security which you cannot give at the moment. He means what he says but life has got in the way and may eventually stop the two of you from reuniting even if you want to. Also, the ex-wife may take advantage and abuse her power which leaves this aries trapped and forcing them to accept anything they say because they do not have anybody else.
