Do you believe in soul mates and true love and why?

Wow. This is a toughie. I have often asked myself the same question. I have come to the conclusion that when you are in a relationship you should ask yourself if you truely think this is the happiest you can be. This IS hard because how do you actually know? Well you can compare to past relationships for one thing. But if one main element you are looking for is not there, then it probably never will be.
True love. What everyone yearns for. Another question to ask yourself: Do I like being with -----(fill in name) or do I just like being with SOMEONE? This is very important in determining whether you truely love the other person.
So, yes, I do think true love exists. But I am not so sure about soul mates. What do others think?

i most def. do only because of the fact that ive met mine and ive always believed there was someone out there for everyone and if your lucky you'll find them soon enough

if there is one out there, i have yet to find it, just got out of a relationship with an aries. at first we were great, then he couldn't stop talking to other females, eventually he cheated on me.

In part one of your question regarding soul mates. The answer is quite straightforward. In partnerships it usually occurs when each of the partner has a particular planet harmounesley aligned in a certain area of their birth charts.
True love most certainly exists. It is only deflected by our fears.
If you truly love someone and even say you do then you had better be prepared to live with that forever. Our ego,s fool us into saying otherwise.
I don,t see how you can love someone once then say you don,t love them anymore. Our lives are big enough to cope with lots of loves. We love this we love that etc etc
