People who have your sun-sign as their ascendant

Are you attracted to people who have your sun-sign as their ascendant (for example, if you are a Scorpio are you particularly attracted to people with Scorpio rising?) I have noticed that I am often attracted to women with Virgo rising, even including famous women: for example I find the 1950s film star Jean Simmons (who was Aquarius with Virgo rising) exceptionally attractive and have just bought a poster of her. Also I have Sag rising myself and my ex-partner (and mother to my son) is a Sag so this may account for why she was attracted to me (she also has Mars in Virgo).

No. I tend to avoid Gemini men, or men with Gemini placements, because unless it's weighed down with Scorpio and Capricorn (like me) or other "trust worthy" signs like Pisces or Cancer, Gemini is not even something I want to deal with it in a romantic sense. NO THANK YOU.

I also learned that the main thing my Libra ex had going for him was his Scorpio Ascendant and Pisces Moon. When I had a Libra FWB, it was a mess. He was practically a player, but very good at it, because he didn't SEEM like a player...he had that romantic, boyish Libra facade.

I was just seeing an Aquarius, and he could be so indecisive. I need to do his chart. I still think he'll come back (we were just together Monday, he wanted to end it Friday, and I've noticed a pattern with him in the eight months I've known him).

Air signs are a bunch of trouble if they don't "heavier" signs grounding them in Earth or Water in prominent places in their chart.

And that's my official opinion.

*note that the Libra ex and Libra FWB were two different people, and that was my point, that the six year Libra worked because of Pisces/Scorp influence

*also note I may never speak to the Aquarius again if he does do his flip-floppy coming back and I find out he has nothing in his chart that might suggest eventual loyalty, screw that

Apparently I'm at least sexually attracted to people with my sun sign as their ascendant, we have great chemistry, but I doubt now that he's relationship material, unless his Venus and Mars can over ride all that flaky air.

I don't quite understand it but I attract air sign men like crazy. A huge, and I mean vast majority Geminis!

The two serious relationships I have had have been with an Aquarius sun Libra rising for three years.. that was a VERY bad, yet intensely passionate experience (when he and I dated I wasn't terribly interested in astrology so I didn't realize he had so much air in his chart. Now I would know to stay clear :p) Currently I'm with a Libra sun Virgo rising, he also has Venus and Jupiter in Virgo, so he is very grounded. His Libraness mostly comes out when he's been drinking. Then he hardly pays me any attention and is out charming the whole bar >.< lol.

Although I attract mostly Geminis, I've never actually had the opportunity to date one exactly because they are so fickle. They seem to have so much fun playing with my Pisces heart letting me fall for them, then running away, coming back in a few weeks, months or a year later.. and trying to rekindle the flames. Either that, or they are overly devoted and big soft hearted family men that try and move the relationship too quickly. Never a balance with them handsome men 😢

I have Aquarius Ascendant and honestly i was never attracted to Aquarius Man, but we can be good friends and I can communicate with them easily. But it's weird because i never like one in my life, no matter how handsome or charming they are, it never seems to move my heart

My high school crush actually was a Capricorn with Moon in Pisces 😉 and right now i'm infatuated with a Gemini Man with Moon in Aries and Ascendant in Gemini (or Cancer im not sure)

The only two long term relationships I've I'm attracted to lots of different types, and I think I attract lots of different types, too. But my only deep, meaningful, long term relationships have been with Aquarians. I'm pretty sure that my aqua guy of 20 years is a bit more attracted to me than I am to him.

I'm A Leo sun Cancer riser, my best friend is a Leo riser, and I like most Cancer sun's.

For me it's the other way around. I'm a Cancer asc, and I'm often attracted to Cancers. I'm not sure if they're attracted to me tho.

Same here, i dont mind cancer girls, cuddly, a little on the whiny side so you can spend a lot of time inside, working things out, more cuddling, And you gotta love make up sex....plus theyre usually voluptous 🙂

I'm a cancer sun and I've had a lot of cancer friends and best friends when I was younger, I wasn't really attracted to any men who were cancers and I was even repulsed by some but there were some who were really attractive to me. My asc is capricorn and I'm way more attracted people who have capricorn sun. They're like a magnet to me.

Yes. I'm a Pisces Sun, Taurus Rising and I'm attracted to Taurus energy like a moth to a flame. I enjoy the affection, the hardworking attitude, and the financial stability/security. It's not even that they necessarily have to spend money ON me. It's just nice to know that they don't usually need any financial help and do pretty good at taking care of their own material needs. That's the short picture. In the long run, it doesn't work out, because their possessiveness that rears it's head is weird, because it seems like the longer you know a person, the more you trust them and not vice versa. lol Taurus always end up acting crazily possessive AFTER they've known you for months/years. That's just frickin weird. I understand and empathize with the feeling that someone is "yours", but at the same time, you have to realistically know that you could never own another person and that they ultimately belong only to themselves.

A Gemini keeps coming back into my life when relationships end on both sides. He has a Cancer Venus and a Libra Moon, we both have Pisces Mars.

I have found Scorpios attractive in looks for sure... that's my rising. But I think with a full sun Scorpio it's just too intense for me. I feel like so many of them play off that they are so mysterious but really they are just private about themselves because they cant articulate who they are very well or don't care to. It comes off as a bit pretentious to me unfortunately. The "I'm so guarded and private" thing is just silly to me and a bit annoying. I do respect that every person of every sign is unique of course but I'm just stating that in my experience I rarely find myself attracted to Scorpios in a dating sense. I do however find myself trying to impress them or show off my scorpio traits, almost like a student to a teacher really... I think that kills any possible romantic vibe for me. On the flip side, I'm also sort of repulsed by Sag rising males, or at least the few i've met. I definitely feel like its the same situation as I have with scorpio only reversed. They want to be all Saggy with me and emphasize how all things sag even though I know them to generally portray a different demeanor the rest of the time.It's a bit like being put on a pedestal or putting someone on a pedestal based on desire to emulate the energies that are already so fully developed in them.
