You can check you Vehlow system if you go to astro.com. Go to Extended Chart Selection. Under the title, Options, you can select a House System in the drop down menue. Vehlow is one of those options.

adding to it that Jupiter in 4th (placi) says I have a good childhood, plus my place has been blessed always.
vehlo says Jupiter in the 5th.
I find little indicators for that. i mean regading subjects of h5. no children. not a good role player. romance afairs are nothing for me. (actually I hate it when people confuse my flirty manner with green light to be involved in affairs. These are people I could hate ten years later too. How dare they?)
I actually liked my pluto in the 5th house, but I have to accept it being in my 4th. I do not in any way identify with my moon being in the 1st house, but it's spot on in the 2:nd. My mars is not a very good fit in the 11th, but in the 10th it makes sense. My mercury is okay with flaws in the ninth, but it's spot on in the 8th. My neptune is unfortunately pretty accurate in the 7th house. So, with the Vehlow system everything is pretty spot on. It's weird.

The Placidus system seems to be working for many people, so I'm definitely not discarding it - I just know Vehlow is the system I identify with, so I'm trying to form some theory around it to see if it works for other people too, and if it does, I'm trying to find a find some form of relationship between these people's charts. My dominant sign is 1. scorpio 2. Capricorn 3. Virgo in both systems. My planet ranking is 1. Sun 2. Moon/Pluto shared place in Placidus and 1. Pluto 2. Venus 3. Sun in Vehlow. I agree with Pluto and sun being front liners, but I seriously don't know how venus landed in top three. I would have placed moon, saturn and jupiter, all before venus in every calculation I've ever made. So that's weird.

I don't know, ofc, but I wouldn't be shocked to find your scorp mercury conj Pluto in the 3rd house. Your writing seems lighter than a scorp mercury conj Pluto in the 4th house, in a way. But idk, ofc. Just guessing.

I'm definitely strange! (Uranus). I relate a lot more with the Placidus because I feel nothing like an Aries and I don't attract Aries. I felt more Plutonian all my life.

Yeah, I really don't get that venus in my planet ranking. I have done several calculations on sign and planet ranking and I haven't got venus top three even once - and I'd love to be more venusian.
I wanted to be more of a gemini for a large portion of my life, because when I showed that side of myself, that's when people seemed to like me the most, but I've come to accept that I'm not all that gemini after all. And the people who knew that there was a whole other side than the gemini one are the friends that lingered, so it's all for the best. 🙂
Why not check your planets, one after one in the different houses to see where they make the most sense to your personality. Who knows, Pullen is possibly not perfect. Imo, it's fairly accurate, but not exact, by any means. But then, I'm not an astrologer - I just happened to nerd in on it. 🙂

Sometimes - the time of birth is wronged by couple of minutes. There's astrologers who can correct that - who can add the accurate value - if you describe them the major events from your life, or - you could do that yourself - through Sabian Symbols (you do that by checking the house placements - by degrees - and the description for a given degree - should be something with which you relate strongly... and when the time is accurate - the description for all the 12 houses - should hit the spot).

Must admit to being a sceptic when it comes to the astrologers who try to set exact birthtime by events and such, because often people don't know/remember the exact dates and details of things that happened to them and I also think it allows for cold reading and manipulation, which is the part of astrology that really scares me.
There are a lot of easily fooled people out there, and a lot of scammers. I have done cold readings(not astrological, just "psychic" ones) for fun(friends of friends), and the subjects were all amazed at my accuracy. When I told them that I'm not a psychic and that I just read their reactions and behaviours and manners and clothes and postures and such in different ways like everyone does(maybe unconsciously, though) when they assess a person they just met, and lured them into giving me certain bits of information during the session, they were baffled and I honestly can't believe they fell for it. So, apparently people do fall for it. And that's scary, because certain people take advantage of that.

How you you feel about the Vehlow system? I know it's a sort of equal house system, but Vehlow can differ quite a bit from classic Equal House, as I think it would in your case.

No, more research is needed, but also, I don't have my birth time down to the minute. it was between 820pm and 840pm, so that could account for the slight wobbles.

When testing that on my friends, I discovered that it wasn't very accurate...except for with those with two pairs of intercepted signs according to Placidus and those with their ASC in the second decan(or, really between 13 and 17 degrees). Incidently, those two always occured at the same time, so I can't really draw any conclusions about it at this time. But I'll try, so:
1. Do you identify with the Vehlow house system? Of what degree is your ASC and also, do you have two pairs of intercepted signs in your chart?
2. What is your experience with the different house systems? Do you fully identify with anyone of them?
3. Does anyone know the math behind the Placidus system, or know a link where I could read about it?
