oh maybe that link isn't the best...

here is a good one.

http://www.homeoint.org/morrell/astrology/medical.htm

Taking the Signs first, they are connected in this way with the body

Aries : Head and face, the eyes.

Taurus : The neck, ears, throat, larynx, tonsils.

Gemini : The arms, shoulders, muscles and bones in these, the lungs (including the trachea and bronchi), and the hands.

Cancer : Stomach, breasts, solar plexus, diaphragm, upper part of the liver.

Leo : The heart, spine and spinal parts.

Virgo : The intestines, alimentary canal, lower part of the liver.

Libra : Kidneys, loins, appendix, lumbar vertebrae and the skin generally.

Scorpio : The organs of reproduction, bladder, gall, colon and rectum.

Sagittarius : The hips, thighs and the sciatic nerves.

Capricorn : The knees, joints of the body and the hair.

Aquarius : The lower leg (calves and ankles), the teeth and the circulation of the blood.

Pisces : The feet and toes.

The Planets govern parts corresponding with the Signs they rule and in which they have their exaltation.

The physiological side, in relation to the Signs, is as follows :-

Aries : The brain faculties and the distribution of mental and physical energy.

Taurus : Recuperative forces.

Gemini : The breathing and those things connected.

Cancer : Nutrition.

Leo : Distribution of vital forces and especially through the blood.

Virgo : Processes of assimilation and absorption.

Libra : The liquid processes of the body.

Scorpio : Procreation and reproduction.

Sagittarius: The senses, malady as studied through the nerves.

Capricorn : Processes of preservation and reserve of energy.

Aquarius : The circulation and eliminative processes.

Pisces : Perspiration and the lymphatic processes generally.

wow that's awesome. The heart/spine is from LEO, and their opposite Aquarius CIRCULATION of the blood, like some kind of extenstion from the heart. that's soooo cool. and the BLOOD Is pumping to the HEART.....awwww sooo sweet.

Leos love backrubs....try it ? They'll follow you around like little dogs. That's really interesting about Aquarius !!

Libra is kidneys, they're social which is why drinking is considered a social activity, activating the kidneys puts you in social mode. Also they're a weak spot, behind you, and they control you, as opposed to your head (aries) where you have complete control. Which is why one is co-dependant and the other is a loner.

Also l've found that Pisces and Libra are the same in a sense, they both rule the lymphatic system, the subtle water system.

I don't really see how the other signs are comolementary to each other.

I thought virgo was bowels.
Large intestine, worry, "digesting", being active.

I think it has more to do with efficiency than just being active; separating the wheat from the chaff. The large intensine is where most water reabsorption occurs, which ultimately causes waste to solidify and be excreted out of your body. That's how I look at it.

So when your body reclaims water at the level of your large intensities, it helps the circulation of your blood and distribution of minerals extracted from whatever it is that you ate.

Then how come every time I worry I always get stomach upsets?
Why do Aries get headaches and bumps on the head? To each their body part...
why is it called ruler? isn't that supposed to be an advantage?... but it seems to me that the body parts for corresponding signs are... the sensitive/vulnerable parts of each sign?

That's where the focus is, l heard of Virgo rising people being very worried as kids, and later having no problem with their routine, being responsible...it's your domain, so you may start out disadvantaged, but all your energy and focus goes into it.

l've noticed pro snowboarders who talk about how they were the most insecure in their abilities, as kids, it's because your element is your challenge, and you rise to it.

Yeah l dn't mean alcohol, there are plenty of occasions where people go for a drink that's just sparkling water or coke or smth...

No because what's in our stomach is ultimately partially digested food and acid - the liquidy substance in our stomach that's called chyme.

The more liquidy chyme goes through your digestive tract, the more it solidifies - that's because your large intenstine does its job in gradually pulling out the water from that liquidy substance.

Think about it: why is it that your blood pressure drops when you have diarrhea? It's because you've excreted a significant amount of water.

So water is a solid, kinda? I have wondered this, because in surfing it's like snowboarding on ice, it's hard turns, not powdery fluff...Water becomes hard as rock when you go fast enough. Also Virgo is about being efficient yeah, active to the extreme, but in the long term. It takes 6-8 hours to digest smth, which is the general time frame of work or sleep...like a "shift".

Well, not really. Water is literally just that in our bodies - water / liquid. It contributes to the liquidy substance in our stomachs when it's secreted from the blood vessels that line the stomach walls. It helps HCl acid and other things mix well to further chop up (for lack of a better word) what was partially chopped up in our mouth (where saliva and digestive enzymes come from). So water doesn't ever really harden or move fast enough to harden.

ohhh i understand it now

it's something we have to conquer in order to "rule"

i've always struggled with stomach upsets due to Virgoan anxiety

Yes!

I have a Virgoan family friend who's just perfect in work settings...he's the most grounded and productive person l know. He can even be scary cause others seem incompetent to him and it makes him mad. He used to be anxious and kind of weird in his youth...

Other example, Geminis start off quirky and a bit weird, end up being the smartest, most cunning and even hurtful.

I had a Leo friend who was lonely and lacked confidence in school, now he's extroverted and confident.

When you want to get good at something, you have to start out with the opposite, i.e. softness, weakness. That's how it grows into perfection. If you get good early on, it solidifies and dies faster. Like a babys bones are soft, and he's the one who will live the longest. Compared to the adults around him.

I have issues with your choice of words, yupvirgoo. Not every Virgo feels that way. And I also feel compelled to remind you that every Virgo does not see life through your lenses.

I'm not sure if you've noticed by now, but I can be very hostile towards people who have a defeatist or self-deprecating attitude and try to find whatever way they can to justify it. You can ask everlynn.

Lol, water doesn't solidify feces. Feces is literally what your body says it doesn't need after you eat. Water gradually gets taken out of the substance that leaves your stomach and enters your small and large intestine. That's what causes your "waste" to solidify.

Also, blood is composed of red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets (what patches up cut wounds for instance), and water (also known as plasma).

The cells contribute to the thickness/viscosity of the blood.

It's just a job, in the future that job will be done by robots but the virgos will probably program those machines and figure out how to perfectly cleanse everything. There's nothing shameful about having the drive to cleanse, in a very large sense, like ants, their duty is in the details, in cooperation, in being USEFUL, it's just that area of the zodiac.

Oh so the body is the one reabsorbing the water. And blood is thicker is an expression for family and how they're more trustworthy but l think there's very different types of water and humid substances.
Yeah, I guess you could say that. But the large intestine is specifically where water reabsorption happens the most.

Also that expression does mean what you think it means - that family bonds are relatively strong.

Aha

So what's the meaning behind the centaur?

The centaur's half-human, half-horse composition has led many writers to treat them as liminal beings, caught between the two natures, embodied in contrasted myths, both as the embodiment of untamed nature, as in their battle with the Lapiths (their kin), or conversely as teachers, like Chiron.

Oh, hm I honestly dont know. If you're asking if it's drinkable or not once you extract it lol, I wouldn't know because I haven't tried it. A little research would help.

But did you know that if you draw blood and centrifuge it (ie. put the sample of your blood in a fast spinning machine), you can separate that sample of your blood into 3 distinguishable layers? A really red layer (consisting of your red blood cells), a whitish, cloudy layer (consisting of your white blood cells) and a clear layer (which is essentially your water content)?

That's physiology for ya
