Scorpio on 7th house cusp
"Despite your controlled and thoughtful nature, the decision to marry may be quick and precipitated. It is possible that you marry young, around the age of 22. You will choose as a wife a woman who is strong, sure of herself, possessive and very jealous. You will experience a passionate and intense union. She will want to have you by her side 24 hours a day and you will share every moment and every decision.
Living together will not be totally calm and it is possible that you will experience periods of tension and fighting. Her jealousy or authoritative attitudes can suffocate or limit your personal freedom. Some of your most common complaints about her will be: her jealousy, selfishness, whimsical or inflexible attitudes, and her aggressiveness. Nevertheless, you will be happy to find someone totally devoted to you who will fight to keep you by her side.
If you manage to get along and moderate your disagreements, you will have only one marriage throughout your life. If you have a divorce, it will be very long and painful because your natural tendency is to have only one relationship."

Mine is in sag...where my venus is...and where Saturn is transiting atm. No! I'LL die as Miss Havisham!

venus in the 7th must be good, aint it?

also Saturn would make it more serious, they say. profit from it.

I don't have Saturn there natally, it's just visiting. I honestly don't know what venus in the 7th does for, or indeed, against me. Embarrassing, I know. All I know is that Saturn is hating on it right now, which means that I win! HA!

Best regards,
Miss Havisham

No, why would I? I stand by what I write, and at that time(before I got my birth certificate), I thought I was a cap sun with a cancer moon and sag venus and a virgo rising.🙂

I got you already. I know you mean transit Sag. And I added that makes Venus more serious than usual. So if you want to marry, do it now. If you like someone now, you see him from a more practical view than otherwise, in three years for example. (just what I read here and there)

Yes, you're right. It's just that the day Saturn entered my 7th house, I lost the love of my life. So, I'm not thinking of marriage right now, no.

Almost a year ago...11 months, maybe? Just guessing. Think I wrote a post about it too. My parents had told me that I was born at 23:45 for years, but I thought, just for accuracy, I'd get my birth certificate. And suddenly I'm told that I was born at 14:20...the time they told my brother that he was born...

The person I'm with has this placement. I thought the person WITH the 7th house Scorpio placement would be like that and not their partner??

It describes the qualities in partnerships, but if like me the person has planets and/or luminiaries in the 7th, then they could have 7th house qualities themselves too.

I have Scorpio ruling my 7th, but it's intercepted by Sag. My longest term relationship so far (9 years) was with a Sag sun man whose sun fit into my 7th house. And he's still in my life, as a good friend. We've known each other for close to 25 years.

by death? or break-up? in the latter case there can be a return.
Neither. We always though we'd find our way back to eachother and now it's clear that isn't gonna happen.

similar story with me. we both have venus in sag. so actually the venus last month should have helped us to come together again. we talked a few times on the phone. I could go visit him and I did not wish to do it. cause he missed to suggest that we travel together. once again. He has his Nemesis in Cancer (conjunct my NN). I guess he's been programmed by life experiences that it is not good for him to be nice.

I'm happy with this break-up. It made no sense. No friendship/happiness/joy, no future with a Sag.

I didn't get the "missed to suggest that we travel together" part.

Really happy you are happy with the break-up! Now you can start allover. Good! Not fun right now, I bet, but good in the long run. 🙂

Right, so the person WITH Scorpio in the 7th house will have those qualities in his partnerships... For example, the person I'm with has Sun in Taurus, moon in Leo, venus in Gemini and so on but his Pluto and North Node are both in Scorpio - plus his 7th house is Scorpio...

How can you determine interception? Is that a cusp thing, or...? Not sure what that means

It supposedly describes the kind of partnerships/partners that a person is drawn to, but if they have planets, etc. in their 7th house then they will have those qualities too. The 7th house isn't about the self, like the 1st house, it's about other people.

If you look at the 7th house in a chart and you see more than one sign in it, you're seeing an interception. That's when usin

Scorpio in the 7th house: http://scorpioland.org/traits-people-pluto-7th-house/

Pluto is there of course.

those two are very diferent though. pluto 7th housers are attracted to scorpionic folks. doesn't matter the sun sign, they have to exude plutonic energy. The problem which the author says, is that pluto 7th housers dont really go DEEP in commitment because they wanna FIGHT. and Scorpio doesn't really wanna fight, so they pick and pick and pick which is annoying. however, it all depends i'm sure. Just by her reading alone it sounds horrible. But of course other aspects help.

sorry, I was cut off.

Interceptions can often be seen in charts that are created using the Placidus system (default on Astro.com). Not all charting systems allow interceptions.
Hm I don't think he has one, but I'll check. I'll check mine too, that's interesting!

I find it interesting too! You might like to check how your Scorpio parts (in your chart) fit into his 7th house, if they do. That can be a strong indicator of attraction and potential compatibility.

but then the 7th housers/libra likes to stir things up because it can get boring. It's AIR so they will be bored to death if there is no conflict.

that's why not good with boring folks.
I can see that being the case. I don't stir up trouble but I choose partners who aren't boring so I can't test the theory very well, just imagine it given how I hate being bored, lol.

My sun, mercury, mars and pluto fit into his 7th house.
He doesn't have any planets in my 7th house, however I read that bc Taurus and Libra both rule venus, as Scorpio and Aries both rule Mars, that can be interchangeable as they are only referred to as "Venus" or "Mars" - even when mentioning distinctly different ones. With that, then maybe his Sun and Lilith fit into my 7th house.

What do you think?

Wow, you fill out his 7th big time!

I can see that might be the case with Venusian and Martian energy. With Venus, I think it's been said that Taurus is the morning star version of Venus, and Libra is the evening star version.
