Advice on Gemini man

Hello,

I am a Virgo sun Sagittarius moon who was involved with a Gemini man just about one year ago. I am a 30-year-old female and he is a 27-year-old male. We both work in the film industry and that's how we met each other. When we originally met he was working the second unit camera and I work grip and electric department. We were hired by the production company separately and he really had no authority in any way. We were involved with one another for seven months and then one day he ghosted me. I wasn't aware of the term ghosting before I met him. After a lot of confusion, I was searching the internet and learned about the term. I was very heartbroken and thrown off when he disappeared. About four months after that event he started seeing another person and still currently they are together. Today I received a text message from a woman asking if I wanted to work for him pretty much. Telling me he is the Director of Photography, thus he recommended me for the job. The amount I would make for a ten hour day would be $ 600. So, he would be the director of photography and essentially I would be his "swing" between gripping and electric. I must note that he has moved up in the ranks and now has some authority if he's working as a DP. My question really is what the hell was he thinking when he recommended me? I know no one knows exactly what someone else would be thinking but he is very much a textbook Gemini so maybe this would leave clues. I'm very off-put by it all, we didn't exactly leave off on the best of notes. We aren't friends and I'm sure he's very aware that I've blocked him in every form of social media. He surely must have other people to call for the job, he's a social butterfly. The whole situation seems contrived, even the amount of money I would make that day. It's as if he's trying to entice me, lure me in. Please, any advice on why he would do this would be so much appreciated.
