Maybe since your Gem Moon is illuminated because of Pluto, people necessarily see it, so no wonder they've seen you as Gem. My friends also see my Virgo moon tendencies because it was also aspected by Pluto and it shows its power even if we try to hide it. 🙂 I was also doing the same thing that you did. I act Aquarian because I always intimidate people even if I try to think that I'm friendly. lol 🙂

With regards to my classmates, I still act Aquarian, but with my closest friend there, they see my Scorpio- Virgo personality. When in casual parties, I act my Scorp MC. Then when people approach me, they either see my Aqua ASC or my Scorp Sun (it depends on compatibility with the person). I try to make an image that people would believe that it's really me when in fact it's not. Surprisingly, nowadays I act more Scorpionic than ever before. The last time that it happened was 2 years ago when my transit was heavily Scorpionic. I tried to suppress my Scorp side by masking it with my Aquarian side, but I always fail. I think my life is beginning to embrace my Scorpio nature.

It being in the 2nd house has also made a huge impact on it. I'm pretty confident that it's my ASC people see when they meet me at first. Since I'm trying to tell myself that I have a Taurus ASC this week, I have really tried to make it into that - that it's my moon they have really seen, but I must say I doubt it. I may need more time with this experiment, as it seems. 😭

It's a neat trick...🙂 I think I'm partially helped by my sag venus as well. Just don't ask me how to make that sag energy into my sun and merc signs. My super sag brother(sun, merc, jup in sag and his moon and venus in the 9th(!)) has been visiting and omg, I'm so not a sag. It really seems I'm gonna need more time to make this work.

Without the astrological terms, I've been trying to strive away from anything Pluto in my chart my entire life, due to that. Getting dead tired of it - my entire chart except for my ASC is dipped in it and with years of years of transiting Pluto aspecting most of my personal planets in my 8th house, so it isn't easy. I don't think I'm gonna keep using my gem ASC to the same extent as I did before.

I see a lot of Sagittarius and Scorpio in me. My natural instinct is to be impatient, impulsive and blunt. I blame that on my sun. My Scorpio moon waters down my fiery tendencies a tad, making me more reserved and observant; at the price of making me enter negative spirals of feelings and thoughts if I'm not very careful.

I don't see any Libra in me at all. I don't have a hard time making decisions, and I do not attempt to unrealistically please everyone at the same time.

I'm confident in the tropical placements.

Interesting! May I ask, have you studied both your entire charts(vedic and tropical), or are you basing this solely on sun, moon and ASC? I mean, that's the tricky part with astrology, imo: you may be able to find explanations for everything if you try hard enough. At least that's what I'll try to partly(I need a lot more testing to really figure it out, ofc, but this is one step) figure out if it's possible with this experiment.🙂

I've studied both charts entirely.

The thing is, in my case, the sun and moon represents me perfectly, since my charts aren't very... "colorful", for lack of a better word. In Tropical I have Sag and Scorp recurring throughout. In Vedic I have Scorp and Libra recurring throughout. Not only in sun/moon/asc, but in many other areas.

Even if this were not the case, I still believe the sun and moon have the two largest impacts. The conscious and subconscious self.
