Chiron in the 12th house

Does anyone have this placement and if so, how do you think it has affected you, now and in the past?

Yes. I get drained by other people, mostly. I have to be alone to recuperate. I can also drain myself though by obsessing about things that aren't good for me.

Do you enjoy being alone ~ i totally love it, whereas lots of people dread it?

Are you able to say no to peoples' company, i spent a long time not being able to, but find it easier now and say no more than yes

Yessss, I love it. It takes me a good two weeks before I even start to miss being around people. With the internet I could probably never see another person in person again. I'd miss the hugs and stuff, though, and it wouldn't be healthy. I'm just saying, I could do it. 😉

I'm the queen of excuses. I'm getting better at just telling the truth and saying "I don't wanna."

Yes, i get all that. I interact with people every day but don't want to spend too long with anyone unless i feel easy with them. What is your sun sign, Lady?

Gemini. When I do interact with people, I give them my full attention. I think that's part of why it's so draining, especially if the person is demanding.

Aaaahh that makes sense Lady. I have Sun-Neptune conjunct. The Pisces energy makes us very sensitive to other peoples' energy. It can be a nightmare at times....drain city

I have a Libra Chiron in the 12th house. I like to be alone too and get drained easily by people. I don't enjoy being around most people especially if I don't feel like the interaction is very meaningful. I need to learn to be around people more.

I'm in my own head a lot and I used to daydream and fantasize a lot as a kid, always creating scenarios and coming up with stories.

I think this placement might be responsible for repressing feelings/emotions, but I'm too sure. Does anyone else have this experience along with the 12th house Chiron?

Also, Chiron is our teacher so if it's in the 12th house, I feel like it means we have to be our own teacher in a way; only we can help ourselves. Looking to spirituality and the collective consciousness will help as well.

I have Chiron in Aries in the 12th house like LadyPootsAlot. I have Saturn in the 12th house too.

Same with liking to live alone/be alone often, aside from spending time with my cat which I gladly do daily. There are people I like spending time with (a few hours a week) but not many.

I correspond with friends and family via e-mail and phone regularly so I'm not isolated overall - I love the internet for learning things, entertainment and correspondence.

Even as a child I enjoyed time alone, but I had friends I spent time with and I played with my sister a lot (we're only 17 months apart).

Hmm, it's a weird question for me to answer, because I am so emotional sometimes, but yes, I do also repress emotions. I've even repressed memories before.

I believe I am highly sensitive and perceptive, and because of that I sometimes get access to the collective consciousness, consciously. Like some kind of messenger. I think I can remember most things from my childhood/life even if they were a bit traumatic. But there are certain things that I don't think about and it kind of gets buried down in my memories. I'll forget about them until something reminds me of it.

Are we talking about the same one? I actually have yet to learn more about the concept. I've recently been questioning whether I have psychic abilities, because once in a while something will happen but it's not often. I might be a empath though, and I'm also perceptive and intuitive as well.

I'd be nothing without the internet ? I spent most of my childhood playing alone too with my own imagination. I would always have one best friend that I spent the most time with too

I have cancer Chiron 12th conjunct ascendant.

I read that it would effect my appearance. I have a lot of scars. Not sure how it would effect me.

I need time alone, but then I need stimulation, a viscous cycle of push and pull ?

And yes to the collective unconscious as something to tap into -- that's what I believe as well. My mother has the same perspective. She introduced me to astrology, and also Jung's work.

I don't have a very firm grasp on what I mean by it either. I think that we recognize common symbols, mythology, and themes. I think we have similar nightmares, tracing back to when our ancestors were running from tigers and getting strangled by snakes. Do we teach one another all this? I don't think so, because it seems only academics even know about the history of it or can explain any of it, but even stupid unaware people seem somewhat aware of this knowledge.

We definitely face similar struggles as human beings. I have dreams being chased by strangers lol. Biologically we still have a lot of the same responses as our ancestors, like how anxiety is related to our ancestors having to be alert and hyper-sensitive to their surroundings in order to be ready for any danger.
