Message boards in general.

Ya know, a majority of the 5 years I've been on here I've been a lurker. Just really to try and gain more knowledge of astrology. I didn't necessarily understand the appeal of talking to strangers, trolls etc! However, I get it now. It's fun and interesting to bounce your ideas, questions, flaws etc off strangers and get honest unbiased answers. I feel like if you're open and honest on here, you might actually have room for self growth. There's a lot of really intelligent, and nice people, with knowledge to share.

Besides killing boredom, do you find that you enjoy the boards for similar reasons? Or merely for socializing?

I find it's easier to talk about things with the people on this board than the people I know in real life. I don't have to put up any facades.

I'm on here crying about my ex all the time but in real life nobody even knows if we are together or not! When people ask I am vague and change the subject. I don't want to be vulnerable in front of them. I don't want to admit that I'm being made a fool out if.

In here, I freely admit it and accept the criticism.

It's very therapeutic.

Same! I only talk about relationship stuff with my best Cancer friend. Other than that I feel people have their own worries. I also feel like a lot of the time you can't get clear constructive criticism from those you love, because they love you and want to think the best.
