Difference between opposite sign and sextiles

What is the difference between the influence of your opposite sun/moon and the sextile sun/moon??

Sextiles and Oppositions are complementary, involves lots of give and take, so what's the difference in how they influence or give/take from you, atleast in your experience??

With oppositions - the energy is quite different (on both sides), and it can be hard to find a common ground. That's the main struggle with oppositions... getting along (like two siblings - with a somehow opposite personality / worlds apart even). The pendulum keeps shifting from one side to the other... thus, there's this judgmental position - where each side of the opposition tends to hold its ground. If the Sun and the Moon is in opposition, until you can find some level of acceptance - you're either acting out the Sun (the core/child self) or the Moon (the emotional nature) - in the context of their house and sign. The key word here is "acknowledgement (acknowledging the differences)" and "acceptance".

With sextile you have that from start - both acceptance and acknowledgement. Also, there can be a giving attitude... but there's not take (no expectations in this regard). There's no contrast... no resistance (as it's case with oppositions). It just flows... graciously.
