How do you know peoples risings? I hardly ever meet people that know their time of birth.

I gravitate towards air risings or water.

best: Scorpio and Taurus

worst: its an unanymous decision between Aries and Virgo.

and let me explain why on the worst part. Aries rising are more like Aries sun. their hot tempered, pushy, disrespectful and fast paced. and I don't like any of that. slow your role Aries and we'll be alright.

scorpio and Taurus rising are the absolute best. their the most powerfuless rising signs to ever grace this planet. if they set their sights out to do something, they see to it that it gets done. Taurus rising is chill and laid back. my favorite traits. and Scorpio rising is determine. what's not to like about these two rising signs really.

edit: Virgo rising would be one of the best risings if not for their nagging nature.

Worst? I don't know. I have met a lot of shitty people but I never knew their rising signs. It's kind of awkward to ask someone their time of birth and most don't know it anyways.

Best: Virgo rising - because it's the next best thing to actually being a Virgo. Plus, I give it credit for my proper demeanor, clean appearance, and mad note-taking skills.

True. I think I do know myself pretty well though. Shrug... guess I'll just have to ask how I'm perceived. As a person I'm very secretive as it is. I can't see how this would not carry over to people I don't know when it's part of how I portray myself to those I don't know when it's certainly portrayed to those I do. Im not talking about judging people by their appearance but acknowledging what impression we cause in others.

For example, if you have a Gemini Rising but a Sun conjuncting Moon in Scorpio...You should make an extra effort to show the real you to the people as they can really misundestood who you really are.

Libra may look good from outside, everyone's like 'oh, they're so sweet, peaceful, never angry, yada yada', but it's a struggle for the person, at least for someone whose planets don't match all that harmony and balance shit.

I can't really name a bad rising, it may be more difficult for someone with an Earth/Water rising to feel easy at social situations, but from the outside I really like them, Water is charming in a dreamy way and Earth appears calm and steady, they're actually my favorite risings.

I would say that the Ascendant is the best place to have Libra.

The way you carry yourself, your moves, your body-language...

Libra Rising is about social grace, moving in a charming way, well-educated behavior, good manners and etc.

On the other side the person would look fake, shallow, superficial, materialistic and etc....

Libra risings are just so likeable, diplomatic, and just stupid attractive. Even if they are just average in looks, they're so ridiculously charming that it boosts them right back up. They are people pleasers.

Least favorite would be Virgo risings. It's not a bad thing that they are so obsessed with orderliness and punctuality, but it clashes with my Gemini placements, which are many.
