I think Gemini's are really hot but, to me at least, they also come across as being mean. I think that might just be because I have so many water placements though.

The ones I know say really offensive things about people. I feel they think they are joking but I don't really like pointing out peoples flaws that much.

I don't want to judge and say "all gems are mean" because I think it is just an air sign thing. They just don't see anything as being off limits to talk about and so will talk about some things that are kind of hard for a Pisces like me to listen to 😢
If you're able to tell me about some of the off limit things.
I mean you have really got to look at the positives of a sign more than the negatives. Gemini's are, simply put, explorers of ideas.

I'm very lightly (VERY lightly) talking to a Gem sun/moon/merc, Leo venus/mars and he's a very laid back and easy person to talk to. I wouldn't dare date him seriously though as he openly flirts in front of me. He's a really sweet and nurturing guy when we're together though lol But he has problems of his own to figure out. I'm having trouble finding out what truly makes a Gem. The Earth signs are collectively lazy and grounded, Fire signs are limit pushing and driven, Water signs are emotional and nurturing, and then there's air signs... lol

Yeah...there are some things I can agree are teenage boy traits.
However...
He's adopted, and he's been through some severe emotional trauma. You wouldn't expect someone who's experienced what he has to be as well adjusted socially as he is.

Not indecisive, but inconsistent. Ive also noticed they can dish it out, but they cant take it. Another thing ive noticed is they're not mean, but can say some hurtful things. Not mean, but some of them can be rude.

Ok but on a serious note, Geminis are up in the air because that's where their naturally vibe on their most harmonious frequency. You have to ask yourself why do you need to have a deeper understanding of them really? What you see on the surface is them being themselves at their most comfortable. It's their reality. Once you let go off that requirement for a "deeper understanding" is ironically when a Gemini may finally feel accepted enough to let you in to what lies beneath.
Just my 2 cents from a fellow Gemini Moon.
yes! my experience with gems as well. I don't know them to be mean either although some of the men can be a little harsh, but maybe that's because i'm an air sign.

I dont think they're that deep. What you see is what you get. I dont mean that in a bad way, but they like to flit from topic to topic. They are light and fun and quite humorous.

I don't think it's really indecisiveness. I think it's more they mean it when they say it or decide on something, but later on, they have a different opinion/idea/action. They gather different information or a different mood and they feel differently about it later on. It comes across to others as unreliable or undependable.
My ex drove me crazy with this kind of stuff.
Him on Thursday: "Saturday we will take the kids to the zoo."
Saturday, he's putting on outdoor work clothes and heading out the door: "I'm going to help so and so cut hay/haul cows/etc."
Me: "uhmm....I thought you wanted to take the kids to the zoo today"
Him: "I told so and so last night I would help him."
I take the kids to the zoo by myself.
That stuff gets old, really, really fast.
But they're so charming, they get away with it. They mean well and it isn't personal. Just too many variables and often changing thought patterns.
I heart Geminis, especially the mens. Probably cause my dad, one of my younger brothers, and my first romantic interest are all Gems. But I find in my dealings with them, that both sides are usually happier if it's somewhat of an "arm's length closeness" kind of relationship.. Like a middle school slow dance.

I will say from my experience no matter how nice and friendly and charming they are deep down inside I know they're not trustworthy. They don't even have to do anything, or anything to me personally but they are kept at arms length because I know they are deceitful something ab them you can just tell/ and feel it. This is especially the case for the women though.

I think Gemini hides themselves a lot for the sake of getting along with people and self-preservation. I also think others can sense this and naturally distrust it. I think Gemini does have a mischievous nature, but I don't think we are for the most part cruel or have intentions to damage people.
The only times I've been purposefully cruel is when someone has pushed my boundaries time and time again and I've held myself together and done the right thing but they just don't get it and keep attacking me or using me. And that's happened twice in my whole life?
this is accurate in describing a gemini female friend of mine who ive known for a short time. prior to meeting her i didnt have any real interactions with gems, so i never understood (especially me being a scorp and hearing things about them)
anywho, i started to realzie that she is sneaky. Then i wondered if she was sneaky or not trying to be. i could never tell you as a whole what she is about because i was confused myself lol. as a scorp, this is kind of annoying bc usually i am good at saying this person is like this this and that. dont get me wrong, she has great qualities, but she also does things that as a scorp make me question her. so, i basically started to distance myself from her not too long ago. i just dont really get her but i could tell that gems are aware of their surrounding, maybe call it intuition as scorps have. i dont know, nor am i really interested in looking deeper into her full chart, but i thought she may have had some cancer placements because of her seemingly suspicious/sneaky nature.
when i read this it was like just what ive been trying to say. another thing that i dislike is that she is just all over the place. flaky in a way. and yes, i know most people are aware of that lol

Indeed. Some people are slow at realizing what truly is going on. You can rarely call such garbage "a thread", and someone is quite interested in seeing what happens when he/she puts a hungry cat near a bunch of sleeping pigeons for own entertainment.

I agree. This is going off topic a bit but as a Scorp with libra placements I am aware of how what I really want to say may come across to others so I hold back. Otherwise, people look at me like i'm evil or 'mean' as u say when in actuality I am probably going to say what most people think.
