Do You Think A High Sex Drive Is..

A curse? I am starting to feel that way. I have had to bypass a lot of otherwise great women due to it.

I keep having this pattern when I meet women. We click immediately, on a intellectual and personality level. We enjoy each other's company greatly.

But then reality comes and shatters the fairy tale.. When I am strongly
attracted to someone intellectually or even physically too, I want sex frequently.

The problem is they either have really low sex drives or are uncomfortable with their sexuality.

I notice this pattern mostly in virgos, libras, caps and aquas. Those are the signs I always attract. If they had a fire sign in their chart like Mars or Moon, obviously this wouldnt be a problem. Since fire signs are the highest sexed.

But I always get the double air signs (sun in gemini, moon in aquarius) or double earth (sun in virgo, moon in capricorn) Which usually translates into two things -

1. I'd rather stay at work all night then go home and get laid.

or

2. We are having such a great conversation, why spoil the mood?


I mean I've told these girls point blank that if you are not attracted to me, then let's move on. And they wont hurt my feelings by being honest with me. But they'll say oh no they are attracted to me. But they are not really sexual
at all.

Then I immediately cut ties with them. I am monogamous and have never cheated. But I have a clear idea of what I want in a relationship. That includes laughs, romance and lots of sex.

When one of those are missing, a relationship feels phony to me. But I feel extreme guilt because otherwise these were fantastic women.

I am really beginning to resent having fire in my chart (moon in sag, mars in sag, Leo Rising) What's the point of having it if you cant meet a fire sign or someone with lots of fire in their chart?

I am feeling really bummed and hopeless. Has anyone else been reduced to feeling like Ron Jeremy in a room of Martha Stewarts?

don't feel guilty. you're doing both of you a favor by being honest with yourself and therefore avoiding a situation that you wouldn't be happy in. when one end isn't happy, that affects the partnership in negative ways.

I agree. Most men seem to be on the pump and grunt gameplan when it comes to sex. I can imagine most females feeling the way you do. You may as well be a substitute for their blow-up doll exercises.

The one thing men and women dont take into consideration regarding low sex drive in a female (besides being treated like a party favor of course) is birth control pills. You definately see the difference when a woman isnt on them.

I think birth control pills are a joke myself. They are not 100% effective even when you use it everyday. I prefer when I am dating someone we stick to the good ole' umbrella with a side of spermicide dish.

Ya know, I'm Sun Cancer and Mars Leo and I have a HIGH sex drive. So i'm awesome with my Sag boy. A high sex drive is not a bad thing it's a natural activity for people. A very sexual guy wouldn't scare me as long as I'm the only one he does it with. Well it works both ways, I've experienced problems with guys not wanting to as much or frequently or they aren't fulfilling my needs. At the end of the day it comes down to compatibility in the bedroom as well as outside and if it's not working there then you have to live with it...or NOT...your choice.

Only one way to find out though because if you ask the question you're not really going to get the true answermost of the time!

I don't think the birth control had much effect on my sex drive, personally. If anything my mood swings got worse for a while, but I've only been taking them a little over six months now and I dated long before I was on them.

What is a high sex drive? I wake up horny every morning and could easily have sex on every occasion. I could also probably fancy it at least once more on most days and devote a considerable portion of my weekends to it too. I guess I have a high sex-drive then?

I'm Virgo Sun, Leo Rising and Scorpio Moon. I've heard Virgos can be very horny and kinky behind the cool facade (which is true of me) and my Leo Rising means I love to feel adored while my Scorpio Moon makes me very intense. That might explain it then.

I had an 8.5 year relationship with a Leo Sun + Taurus Rising + Aquarius (bordering on Capricorn) Moon who's sex drive was much lower than mine - anything between once a week and once a month was sufficient for her. That could be frustrating.

I'm currently with a Capricorn Sun + Sagittarius Rising + Taurus Moon who's sex drive fluctuates between being almost as strong as mine and a lot weaker. It's too early to tell how this one will pan-out as it's only been three months.

All I can do is agree with the OP that having a high sex-drive is a curse, especially if, like me, you're the monogamous type who has no intention of filling the gaps outside of the relationship. Quite whether there's a way to diffuse the longing or to channel the energy in other ways, I don't know.

but most guys get nothing. i can go over a year without any sex at all. of course, i also become a total wreck, but it's better than having bad sex. if i guy can't get me in the mood, i'd really rather not. i'm not a big fan of crying in the shower.

Just saw this thread. Yessssss.... I think it is a curse. Personally, it has hampered the building of possibly fulfilling relationships.

I have Gemini Sun, Taurus Moon, Venus in Leo, Mars in Aries. I have four fire signs in my chart, four air signs, just 1 water and 1 earth. Too much fire and too much air = CONFLAGRATION. LOL. So yes, I am passionate, feisty, and possibly way too horny for my own good.

My Gemini sun makes me largely unemotional but couple that with a Taurus moon and, for me, that translates to expressing my emotions through sex. That also means that I kind of have sex or relate to sex as would a man. The more in love I am with someone, the hornier I get (which is probably true for most) but sex has to be in there to even open the gates to my emotions to get past the Gemini sun barrier. (Or else we will be talking about it forever and you will be relegated to the friend zone for life)

So I find that this particular astrological combo attracts the wrong kind of men -- those not necessarily interested in a relationship. So I think the high sex drive is a curse and even if I haven't done anything yet, just considering the placements of the planets when I was born... I have been screwed since birth.
