Finding out you chart was wrong?

Have you ever discovered that your chart was different than you had thought? Like a difference in rising signs?

Did the correct birth information make you feel more or less convinced about astrology?

I only recently figured out I was born a few hours later than once thought. Instead of my rising sign being Cancer, it's Leo.

I know that Cancers in the Ascendant are known to make less of a splash when walking in the room, and Leo's tend to get noticed more. Leo Ascendants can also pull off a style that others aren't much able to get away with. When I found out about this, yes, it made much more sense.

Leo's Rising are apparently children at heart, and combined with my child-like antics of the Aries, I'm just one big kid! ^_^ I'm the tallest, and I weigh the most!

I typed in wrong time (20 minutes) difference.

He is a Pisces rising..but it's at 28/29 degrees. With the wrong timing he was an Aries rising. Although yes he does have some Pisces male traits, he also has that Aries thing in him. I don't know how how Aries men are but I can say he looks a little Piscean ...the eyes little bit especially when he smiles - that BIG head and that huge frame(Pisces guys usually are huge, tall, just big lol).

But his spirit is more sportive - mix of Capricorn and Aries(imo) ...He could come across as a Pisces though...if observed from afar..

I'm convinced that later degrees can give one traits of next sign especially in houses =)

I was happy when I found out my ascendant is cancer! 😄 that too, entire first house is in cancer

Found out that I was born hours earlier than I previously thought and got a different rising, moon and houses(ofc). Before the new information reached me, I thought I had a cancer moon and that my cap sun and merc was in the fourth...making me pretty cancerian. I'm not a very cancerian person, so that(among other things) made me very sceptical. When I got my true birth time, things started to fall into place.

how about you OP? what did you discover?

Going by the time my mother had given me I was supposed to be a final degree Aquarius rising with most of my firstly house in Pisces. And I accepted that easily because all the descriptions felt right.

And then I found my birth certificate. My true rising is in Sagittarius but Uranus is exactly conjunct with the ascendant and Neptune sits in my first house. It's different than I originally thought but oddly the same.

Placebo effect...

I had actually planned to have a good enough sample size to do a proper study ... never did it though 😛

Lol maybe you should. And even try it on a few people who do know something about astro. Could get pretty interesting.
