How the Descendant works

To me, it's not about the sign you attract the most (like my Pisces asc would call for Virgos), it's about THE ENERGY we pull from other people.

So if I'm pisces rising, I'll usually attract anyone I'm compatible with, but their interaction with me will be, almost always, in a virgoish way. Like "Even though you didn't ask, I did this and this and this for you, and by the way, you should really organize your desk, it's a mess" etc.

How do you peeps see your descendant working?

I'm not sure.

Gemini descendant..would they have to talk and never shut up? I cannot stand competition so not sure how that would work with as much as I talk daily.

More like you tend to bring out the Gemini'ish side of people. Wich doesn't necessarily means competition, but certainly creativity, openness and a lack of pacience in the face of boredom.

Or do you attract a lot of shy people? In that case, my theory could be completely wrong.

My capricorn descendant attracts Cancers? someone hold me! 😛

A capricorn descendant will get you the capricorn side of people... Wich is tough emotionality and career-driven ways I think. Don't know much about this sign.

I have Cancer Ascendant, Pisces Descendant... Not sure how/if that is working out for me. How would one know that? What would be evident?

If you're Cancer Rising, your Descendant would actually be Capricorn. It is always the opposite sign to your asc'.

An aries descendant wouldn't necessarily attract aries people... Even tough that's what astrologers out there say... To me it doesn't make much sense either.

I think your Descendant would, instead, make people around you work in a more Aries'ish way... Which could mean acting before thinking and competition-driven character.

I'm a Scorpio Ascendant, with a Taurus Descendant...

It's a love-hate relationship with them. I think they are attractive people but they can annoy me so much with certain things they do. I do feel sexual tension with Tauruses though, even when we hate eachother, there's sexual tension.

I also noticed throughout the years that it's like they notice the smallest things about me, that I wouldn't expect people to notice or bring up.

That's what most astrology sites would say, I think... That you attract Taurus a lot.

By my theory, you'd actually attract that ENERGY from other people, regardless of their sun sign. So people would act on you with a lot of fixedness, a certain femininity and, err... lots of Appetite? Tauruses are kinda rare where I live, so I'm not the most accurate at it, I'm sorry.

I think it means I've got to marry a Gem to achieve the deepest satisfaction in my personal life 😄
