How to understand an Aquarius?

So in class this Aqua was approaching me (virgo)and somehow we just clicked about careers and stuff. Later on I told him how this class goes and the things you need to do, and I was about to leave the class and he was like thinking I was going to wait for him or something. The next week he comes and asks for my number and I give it to him HOWEVER he is terrible at texting timely sometimes. So then he later figured out that I had a bf and he whenever I would mention my bf in a comment he would give these nonchalant answers and not reply to my messages. Then he was talking to his friend in class and they were talking about girls and he was talking about his past girls so loudly .then he got distant and I did not see him in class for a while and whenever I would text him he wouldn't reply. Then I messages him and told him what's going on in class and he asked if I would be there and then he said he would be there then. When he came to class he all of a sudden started to give me hugs and then later on just not talk to me the rest of class. In addition to that when we text he rarely ever initiates the conversation first,but I just give him his space not text back either.Then after that we were in class and he sat behind me and the class was taking notes and the teacher was asking questions and he would in a way laugh and try to show out and then he would make some remarks that I couldn't help but feel like they were for me. So as of now I do not really know if he is into me or if I should just leave him alone cuz I kinda like him and I don't really understand why you would take my number if you were barely going to text me. (Mind you this is a quick Gym class)

I don't understand. Are you getting feelings for him? If so, you should shut that right down. You're in a relationship, and even if you did get romantically involved with him, I can promise you that the Aquarius will lose whatever respect he has for you for cheating on your S/O.
