The most intimate thing I say to my husband that pulls his heart strings is "you're my best friend." He noticeable pauses everytime - much more intense than "I love you."
So...you guys are saying this is a real good thing, right? That we're close buddies and we can talk about anything? I guess it is pretty awesome, never really had that with anyone before. He has never made a pass at me (too scared) - last year, his hands would shake if I handed him something, or he would blush - only this year have we started breaking through the barrier of our insane chemistry and just calming down and getting to know each other. And he's even more amazing than I thought he was. But, issues. Still, he is so mature that he knows all about them and is trying to overcome them. 🙂

I remember that my Cap mother in law who has Aqua venus thinks that men who are lovey dovey is ridiculous. lol she's a bit cold in the love department , but we know her love is strong.

BUT we call each other friends ('buddy', whatever) and he said I am on his path for a reason, which he accepts unquestionably, but he still has to learn some lessons to overcome his fear of abandonment/rejection (from his childhood) - he says he is not over this yet, but he is healing. Has never had a girlfriend because of his fear but wants to 'overcome his issues' now. He believes he can. Basically, we're saying it's the universe's fault and if we had a choice things would be different. LOLIs this typical of Aquarians? I've heard they're really *strange* in love, but have never experienced it before (although many years ago I dated an emotionally unavailable Aquarius and just gave up - at least this one is acknowledging his emotions!).
Him: Aquarius Sun, Taurus Moon, Venus and Mars in Capricorn.
Me: Scorpio Sun, Gemini Moon, Venus in Libra, Mars in Capricorn.

ok, his venus earth, is not really good for your venus air, Air and earth is not really good together.
even your venus libra doesn't go well for his Taurus moon, although I've seen Taurus energy with libra all the time. But it depends.
