Tips for dating my First Aquarian

I just started dating my first Aquarian. I am a Scorpio, so this should be interesting.

He's definitely not what I am used to. On our date yesterday he seemed to want to examine every part of my body! Ankles, ears, forehead! he was touching them and commenting on their softness and smallness and I felt like I was being closely examined! He also asks endless questions, teases me a lot and is really affectionate.

I like it! I am curious about him, but he's also incredibly different from me.

Any tips for dating an Aquarian man?

From what I know of Aquarians, keep them guessing. Don't give them too much too soon, emotionally or physically. They are playful and restless, so it's hard to keep them occupied (I have a lot of Aquarian friends). Honestly, if he's that interested in your body, that may be all he's curious about. Do what a Scorpio does best (I'm one): be aloof and establish your value very firmly (that's if you don't want something short-term and fun, which you may do).

He has a dating history of not dating anyone for more than 6 - 8 weeks for the past four years (although he was married for 20 years before that) so obviously he's more of a short term kind of a guy. I am more of a "relationship" kind of a girl, so there's an obvious instant problem there but for some reason I am curious about him anyway.

We have really great intellectual conversations for hours, which I like very much because he's intelligent and thinks very differently to me. We have some great debates and end up laughing. We also do the kissing / holding hands and cuddling thing for hours and hours which is nice also -he makes me feel like a work of art of something.

I am quite a lot younger than him (8 years) and we have a lot of differences in other ways but I am interested to get to know him better. Will be hard for me as a Scorpio to accept his easy-breezy dating style - along with the fact the relationship will probably only last a couple of months before he gets bored!

what's your placements? I hope you have some air, fire, or be dominant fire, or dominant air, or have your sun in 11th, sun in 3rd ect that kind of thing.

so far you both have good intellectual rapport, if he has gem mars/Gemini moon, those men like an intellectual equal or someone who is higher in intellect, and never bores him.

If he has more earth, it'd be easier on you, or even be dominant water.

he sounds like he is not interested in a relationship after all his 6-8 week flings. Especially after a 20 year marriage. he may have not been happy in that marriage and stayed too long. you should find a lot more about him if you want to invest in him.

Oh yes @Caplove and @Amethysst that is very true. I do like intense and deep! Perhaps I should look at this guy as a fun fling rather than a long term potential.

Yes @Amethysst I did think that was REALLY strange - but being a Scorpio I also saw it as a sort of challenge. Bad idea probably! But I just had a really emotionally intense relationship and there's something a bit fun and refreshing about something completely different.

Let's hope I don't fall in love and get hurt!

Venus and Mars in sag along with moon. Yeah, this dude would be a sex fiend. I doubt he'd be looking for something meaningful. This guy doesn't have any stabilizing planets and I find it hard to believe he was married for 20 yrs. Ha! Probably had side chicks. Believe him when he says his relationships last 6-8 weeks.

Yeah it might be good for me to have an easygoing romance. The last one was pretty heavy on me (Cancer guy) and drained me a lot emotionally. I like his honesty in saying he usually only dates for a few weeks.

Scorp loves deep and intensely and possessive and aqua needs freedom like human need air that is why its not a compatible match but im an aqua that have long term relationship with a virgo 4yrs and a scorpio 10yrs,must have something to do with my cap dominant chart and i have heavy water placements too,in the emotional level i can handle a scorp,if you want a long term with this one its like finding a needle in an ocean,we like mysterious type but when we unfold you we lose interest so let him guess be mysterious as a scorp it woudnt be that hard,Goodluck! 🙂
