I think it was a positive thing. Maybe that you're a good/likeable person for your generation. Like, you are good, but grew out of a generation that isn't like you? Or, rather, were good for your age? Or instead of good/likeable, maybe also successful? Idk, there's a lot of little details that could change with this depending on who you ask. Just my opinion, anyhow.
Why are you focusing so much on a statement from a teacher back in junior high school?

because i randomly thought about it and after all these years i still didn't know what he meant by what he said i've never asked anyone
ooooh ok well thanks for the responses
It means you stood out to your teacher in a very posative way. You were different from the rest. 🙂 You were the rose whereas other students in your class may not have shown interest in the particular subject or intelligence/ideas/opinions as yourself.

but i need your opinion sooooo i remember when i was in junior high school and a teacher told me that i was "a rose in a bush full of thorns" and i still don't know what he meant by that i've just started thinking about this now and trying to figure out what he meant. it isn't something negative is it? lol i'm so slow but does he mean that i'm a beautiful person but there are bad people around me that may hate or try to make me feel like i'm not.....i don't know just tell me what you think...
