Mars in Taurus indicates a steady, patient, and persistent approach to action. While it may appear mellow, it often signifies strong determination and resilience. The influence can lead to a calm exterior but a firm drive underneath. Understanding this placement helps clarify how such individuals pursue their goals with endurance and practicality.
Well he is an extremely slow mover but I like it in a way... Keeps me on my toes and when we do finally get together we are so excited and happy to finally have time together... This is a new relationship... He is so sensual and soft spoken I cannot imagine the violent or aggressive behavior I've read about...he is divorced recently so we are taking things slow but at his rate it could be awhile... He is calling me his girlfriend now so guess that's a good sign! I love his sensuality.. He is a keeper...want to play this one out right!
I have Mars inTaurus. I dont get angry or violent. It takes a whole lot of poking and poking. However, once I go there... Have a bail bondsmen on standby.
I am very stubborn but my Sun and Moon are also fixed.
I too am slow to anger. That shits gotta build. I am superrrrr laid back in general.
But yes, I think the reason Taurus mars gets the anger definition is because even tho we are slow to anger...if you get us to the point of boiling mad, beware of earthquake.

Violent and aggressive? Hmm
Idk about that-- I think of it as more of a slow-burn.
But yeah, once that point is reached-- it's pretty much absolute, and negotiation time is over.
Which I've found surprises most people.
Maybe my Venus in Virgo makes me look like a pushover-- idk-- I'm still trying to figure that one out.
Anyway-- hope all goes well for you. 🙂
Love it! Thanks for making me LOL!
Well I am a Virgo with Mars in Taurus: as a Virgo I need a clean environment (wherever possible) and with Mars in Taurus I also desire comfort (not necessarily luxury though I do appreciate that if it comes my way!) Cleanliness and comfort often coincide: for example (especially in summer) I often change my shirt several times a day if I can (like if I am at home) to stay clean and dry and comfortable: this means a big laundry bill but as a Virgo I can accept that!
Sex-wise it is a bit of a problem for me as although I am a very tactile individual I am also shy (being a Virgo) so this is frustrating, especially as I was raised in a not-very-tactile family (along with a religious guilt-trip against sex when I was young (I am 55 now) - I think many Virgos have experienced that kind of upbringing, famously the novelist Jeanette Winterson).
As youy might suppose for Mars in Taurus, when/if I DO get the chance I particularly like a lot of "endearments" and foreplay, and the best situation for me would be to spend the entire day with somebody (as an extended form of "foreplay", if you will) before eventually getting down to it in a nice relaxed way!
In my particular chart at least it is clear that my Mars in Taurus links in closely with my father as my Mars is conjunct his Sun in Taurus.
With regard to the anger thing, yes I do have something of a temper if pushed too far, but this is rarely expressed in a physically violent way. My father (who as I have indicated is a Sun in Taurus) is a classic Taurus in that he has only ever really lost his temper very occasionally but when he has it can be shattering!
Wow, was just reading up on some of my Virguys placements! Anyone have any experience with Mars in Taurus man— Sounds nearly impossible for him to be faithful or even connect love with sex!!! Insights please?!?!

Im prolly bias, but I think taurus mars is the opposite of unfaithful. Theres a certain need to be together faithfully. Almost in an extreme sense.
I really think it more telling if you combine it with the Venus placement.

Im good. How are you?
I'm an aqua venus. So maybe its the double fixed sign in me hehe
This is the one astrological placement that is most recurring in my romantic relationships to include my husband.
I read this article before and it is accurate in describing the sensual nature even to the point of being handled like a body (which I like) but, even that isn't a constant.
However, to say that they can't see how sex is really about building a loving bond, well I can't see that either. I have a differing view of what sex is about and I don't have Mars in Taurus. So, what you're really reading is the author's views and how Mars in Taurus fits in with his/her views. To me sex doesn't build a loving bond. If you think that sex is what builds a loving bond then, you might want to express that with your partner and see if they share your view.
However, I have had a relationship with one Mars in Taurus that kinda fits the "negatives" or extremes that the author describes.
The article also says that are passionate but, never let their passions run amok.
I'm sure there's something about all of us that would be distasteful if we let it run amok.
His Venus is in Libra, probably why he is so sexually attracted to me....I found a lot of this kind of frightnibg so thanks for reminding me it's one astrologers view... We are separated at the moment... He did the classic Virgo thing ( so I have read) started having deep feeling between us and he just disappeared on me! Won't answer my text or calls! I'm beyond confused but after a month.. The message is very clear! Thanks for your insight, I appreciate it.
Yes, it was bad timing for me..I'm leaving him completely alone... I've sent 3 text and those were weeks ago.. Tried calling 1x... I care a lot for him and hope someday we can get together again.. I miss him a lot but I'm not a chaser... He knows how I feel and I will leave it at that. The Mars in Taurus thing kind of shocked me... His marriage to a Capricorn slowly disintegrated... He said she shut him out.. physically.. He is very sensuous and somewhat of a perv! lol!!! He was just so sad as they had a good thing for 10 years... I don't want to be the rebound chick but fear I may have been.. Until gasp he got emoitionally attached... The timing was bad.. Like I said I hope he comes back after time and working some things out for himself... It has inspired me to get my sh*t together as well...maybe that's all that will ever come of it._?'?_?'
