My family has decided that I should work at my father's law office after passing the bar. I'm a Virgo and he's a Pisces. Would this ever work? I'll give more details about my father but I'll say now that there's almost 0 (as in "zero") compatibility between the two of us. Luckily, he's not strict and he's very very patient. The only thing that worries me is productivity and success. @_@ I'm worried that this will not bring me much success as I go along.

If you think the money you'll earn is worth the stress you'll gain, go on right ahead. I'm a Virgo, and I have a hard time getting along with Pisces. They're overly-sensitive and they don't know how to accept their faults and wrongdoings. They're goal-oriented people and always come up with new ideas, but if you disagree with them they'll take it as an insult, or think that you're too negative or serious. My friend is a Pisces and even though we're great friends, I know better than to ever work with her because she can't take constructive criticism, wants everything her way, and always tries to be right. Think twice before making your decision.

my dad is completely the opposite of what you guys say. but, however, he could not motivate me at all. @_@ i don't know what makes him less of a pisces (his sun sign) and actually appear more like a capricorn. but despite that, family office environment is tooo laidback. no, this is not work at all. @_@

It's your first job, and you have the chance that your father can offer you such an opportunity, so may I suggest that you try to do a good first impression and stay humble while learning the ropes, rather than looking into astrology for problems.
And if you really think that you can do better than working at your father's office, then go work somewhere else.

One of my Pisces best mates is a Virgo... they are both in the music industry but operate in completely different ways. I don't know the details of their relationship but from what I've observed the Virgo is very high profile, very showy. He wants everything to be a big, big production and doesn't have the practical skills to sustain or sometimes even bring his vision to fruition. He has difficulty taking care of the details. Not very Virgo-like... Maybe his Mars is in Aries

My Pisces on the other hand is very understated. He can talk a good game about what needs to be done... but then he will do it. Slow, steady, determined and behind the scenes. His Mars is in Scorpio.

What are your Mars placements? This is a better indicator of how people actually get things done. A laid back environment can be very beneficial for self-motivated people.... not so good for people who constantly need to be pushed to acheive
