Posted by FirstDecanTaurianWomen0428Ofcourse the environment , surrounding , family etc play a crucial role but there are things that are intrinsic part of our character which are unique to us . There are traits that we have which may not be there in anyone who have influenced us in any sort of way. I ended up questing when I read a few things which make me restless and i know no body around me is like that .
How did you get into Astrology?
I remember no one talked about this at all. This has been around but there are flaws.
The planets didn't make us who we are.
I thought this was out of our control and our parents, siblings, environmental impact, society, friends, teachers a major role in how we are.

Posted by Lord-PaladinI am not the master of it but from what i understand it is not just the science of probabilities . I dont know how it works honestly .
Common misconception. There is no influence of celestial bodies on human life. Astrology is a science of probabilities, not a force of nature; the word "astrology" literally translates to "study of stars."

Posted by yupvirgooI am not saying we cant change . I will just give you an example what first captured my thought when i read about my moon sign a few days back.
@marshmallow
what do you mean?
that we can't change?
since we are the planets we're born to..
are you asking what is the purpose of changing at all or trying to be a better person or having a better life because our planets are our fate?

โThe amazing thing is that every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust. You couldnโt be here if stars hadnโt exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution - werenโt created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way they could get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today.โ

I thought a lot about the same question that you pose here.
I noticed that natal horoscope, combined with transits, progressions and other astrological techniques have a strong impact on the lives of, firstly myself, then people around me.
Yet, there are some people close to me on whom the description of their natal couldn't apply, the transits that should heavily influence them, had absolutely no impact. That puzzled me, cause,as in everything in life, you try to find formulae, the system which, if the same significators are applied, should work at least nearly the same.
I came to realization that the more you study astrology, think about it and understand it, the more you invite those energies into your life. If you have absolutely no knowledge about it, it would have less impact on you, as if you are rebounding the energies around you and creating your own energy field. The moral of it all, I wish I knew less, sometimes I feel like a slave of my own astrological knowledge (precisely, the thirst for it).

It's just like a video game. Players all over the world can choose the same character and equipment as you (= sharing all of the same placements as you) and share a similar basic plot of the story preset by the game (= transits, progressions, etc.). However, they will never end up playing the game exactly the same way. In fact, even if every time you chose to be the same character with the exact same equipment (=exactly same placements), you will not be able to reproduce the exact same game (e.g. you may spend 0.1 more second to beat up this monster than the previous round and thus, it's not 100% the same). Other people on earth are like other characters in the video game. Depending on what other characters are present in your game, you will end up having a different end result.

Posted by yupvirgooYes. we humans have always questioned this but who knows. A lot of time i feel it is our ability to think that plays tricks with us ๐Posted by marshmallowwoah that's a really deep questionPosted by yupvirgooI am not saying we cant change . The site said - You may be something of a โgypsyโ at heart, with a powerful longing to explore the world and move around. You may find you travel a lot, or seek work and situations that allow you contact with foreign places and cultures. Even if circumstances do not allow, you are likely to wish that they would, and can easily imagine yourself making your home anywhere in the world.
The thing that struck me most was - Even if circumstances do not allow, you are likely to wish that they would, and can easily imagine yourself making your home anywhere in the world.
This is me day and night. This was true for me even a decade back. And the fact doesnt change . I may take different directions and path in my life from the above, considering the practicalities yes i change but my deep desires remain wandering there .
I was not asking the purpose of changing, what i was asking was if at all it is true that we are designed by universe to be exactly how we are, then could there be a reason behind it ?
you're basically asking why we exist as we are
scientists have explained how we exist but they haven't provided the answer as to why thoclick to expand

Posted by LostPiscesOh yes i have heard about that. Even certain gods as per some studies are nothing but a representation of an era and planet's movement but not real existing beings at that time .
To shock you, religions are invented by us humans knowing astrology. Virgo Mary = Virgo Sign, the end of a period and start of new one. So then she had a child with no conception, well, alot of years, passing trought other eras to come to Pisces, so no chance to have a baby in belly for that all time, its in astrology ppl.

1st Since i am a capricorn i know i am suppose to be ambitious
2nd I already know some thing about my deep down thought and that happen to perfectly match with a astrological description (neither my parents nor anybody else in family are like that)
The 2nd one captured my mind this time .

Posted by FeelingGeminiI so agree that we need to trust our own thoughts and at the same time not except people to agree . And thats absolutely fine. Even my own views change from time to time .Posted by marshmallowPosted by FeelingGeminiThat makes sense yes. But there are two things

However, reading anyone's post on here, I think you always have to bear in mind that all the things we say come from a personal experience (the way our energies mix with the outer world). That's why, I think, you always have to trust your own thoughts and feelings and go your own way.
I noticed the pattern in my own life and shared it on here. Someone will notice something else, and depending on our own evolution in life, we will take other people's opinions in consideration and apply them or not in our own life. The knowledge and experience are to be shared, not to be imposed or taken as final.
It's sharing and seeing how other people think and what they experience is important to widen our own knowledge.

Posted by FeelingGeminiI gave capricorn ambition as just an example. I today feel that my ambition level has changed . I am now more of a chilled out ambitious kinds.Posted by marshmallowPosted by FeelingGeminiThat makes sense yes. But there are two things

Regarding your post, I think Capricorns are ambitious, but so are some other signs (if not all), in their own way. Aries's, Scorpios, for example. Depending on what you perceive ambition is. But I do agree that Capricorns are ambitious jobwise and are very dedicated to their job.
However, there are no certain answers. We, as humans, use a very low percentage of our brain (less than 10% I think, I forgot how much exactly), so only by that we can see that we are far, far from knowing how things really work.
This is really like some big class full of children eager to learn (mixed with troublemakers and know it alls).

Now the thought that is intriguing me is that our character is defined , its precise so if we are born exactly how we are suppose to be then what is the reason behind it?
