How long does it take you to say "I love you"? Are you usually the one to say it first? Have you ever NOT said "I love you" back? Do you take it seriously, or do you throw "I love you"'s around willy nilly?

Also, what signs/aspects do you think have an affect on this?

I'm typically in love at first sight, so I generally just look at my girl's Venus/Mars combination to help me decide when I should say it. But before I say it, I basically prove it through my actions. The girl I'm dating now has her Venus and Mars in Capricorn, so I'm taking my time, and letting her warm up to me through my actions. I'm not going to say it until I feel the time is absolutely right.

Aqua Sun/Pisces Venus here.

I don't say it first but I fantasize about it. I usually hear it first but rarely believe it.

When I was younger, I said it all the time to my Scorpio ex. We were together for 14 years and he said it twice both only within the first 2 years.

I have only said it a few times in my life - I may even take those words a tad too seriously. Never said it first. I also have a rule to never say it back directly and I have told my bf:s that I don't want them to do that either because I'm super scared that it will be an automatic thing rather than genuine and from the heart.

Yes, I take the words very seriously.

So you've never said it? Wow.

What do you think this has to do with astrology wise?

Well 1) I've only loved 2 men despite being in a few relationships. It was obvious how I felt about them given my level of devotion and commitment, so there was no reason to say the words. As for the others, I don't believe in lying to someone (or myself) if I'm not feeling it, I won't say it. Even if it was said to me. 2) I'm very guarded about my feelings and prefer to show my love vs talk about it. That may change, but I doubt it. My previous lovers have never felt "unloved" or cared for ---from what they've said. Luckily they simply understood that's how I roll and didn't force the issue (less one). I would be guessing if I had to identify an astrological reason.

I've only ever said it to one guy... and it took me a year to actually say it, yet he said it within the first 4 months. Still, I never said it first... Same as you both phoenix and bmoon, I show it in my actions.

@ OP-Ok I have said I love you to my ex bff and he said it to me, however that didn't stop him from hurting me. I was nothing but good to the Aries. Oh well I am detached, but I think I fall easily might be VIT cause my other placements it's like there's no such thing as love but infactuation are always prompt..

I am not seeing it through actions, and it will take along time to get me to say it now, but I might even look at you weird and think you are up to something if a guy said it first. or freak out..

Maybe I might just say it because I have an unfiltered mouth of feelings straightup and direct.. And then really take it from there. I think you should expect an I love you 2-3 years and you are living together. I think i am thinking alot about guidelines.

My Sag said it to me before we became exclusive.. I didn't say it back but I did eventually.

It's not much of a big deal to me. He needs the verbal reassurance way more than I do, so I do say it to him. But I know he loves me so I can take it or leave it.
