So sorry for your struggle, but Taurus mars (esp on a Gem)--
I love it.
My Gem friend has this (conj Saturn) placement.
Very diplomatic
I do enjoy the positive Venus aspects of it , especially having a gem Venus...but I feel the slowness outweighs the positives...

One of the best positions for Mercury, especially if we look how many significant thinkers - philosophers, inventors, geniuses, this aspect gave.
I'll sleep on it and get back to you, but I have an air moon so it might take me a minute..
I'll get distracted to the butterfly on that pretty rose. Hm smells great and hmm what were you saying again..

Only discovering my mercury is in Taurus about a year ago has explained alot!!! I'm a gem sun, cap rising scorp Mars...Responding to people and thinking quickly on the spot I've come to realise is not one of my strengths. Whilst I suppose I take the time to think through ... Thinking things through and comprehending abstract plans or ideas are almost impossible. I work so much better with my hands and through seeing things rather than thinking and planning for them. However my work requires alot of creative abstract planning and quick thinking.
Does anyone else struggle with merc in Taurus?
Nope. My Mars is in Gem and my moon in Aries. I'll debate you into the ground and make witty repartee while doing it.
