The influence of Saturn - how do you deal with it?

One of the first things I look at when reading a chart, is often this planet. it shows the points where we are restricted, but also speaking positively we see the places we are serious about, or could become successful with.
and for the people I know, the position of Saturn is so obvious.

let's hear about Saturn in your life, what do you notice?
in which house is it for you + aspects?
what have you learned and how overcome?

already had a Saturn return?

Myself I have it in the 5th house. I can't imagine more of a challenge, but I dare you .. 🙂

It is my second dominant sign actually. And I have it in Jupiter, pluto, and 4th house. I very determined and easy going than stubborn other objective at first glance.

Saturn is in Pisces in the 4th House for me. Saturn is the 3rd most dominant planet in my chart.

I could go into grave detail about how this planet has fucked me over... Restricted me, screwed me and made me start things all over again but it would be too long. I've been in the process of cleaning up my life since 2012 and it's been so tough and so chaotic.

I am quit the fighter though. I don't give up, and I never plan to give up. If I could explain how I feel right now with all this Saturn and all these restrictions... It's like a horse. You know when a horse is in that stable thingy before a race? When they're being held back by that metal gate seconds before the raise starts? I've been feeling like that for YEARS. I cannot wait for that stupid gate to drop so I can run like a mother fucker and win the race. But I'm so fucking restricted right now!
sounds a lot like me. interesting, do you have an influential pluto as well? fucking up and starting over sounds like pluto aspects.

I get you with the horse thing, but for me it's more on a sort of spiritual level.
I wish you well bro/sis. keep the positivity

Yes. I view Saturn as a place where we may *initially* feel restricted but it's also the area where we CAN work most hard. And it's the aspect that reaps lots of dividends too...ofcourse if we learn discipline, perseverance first (:

IDK about squares and oppositions that well but I have read about conjunction and when it comes to conjunction - always see what planet holds lower degree 🙌

I feel like I have Saturn with me pretty much all the time, and it's my friend even though it can feel restrictive at times - accepting the energy has been important. It's a very nature oriented energy, actually, if you look at some of the mythology, so it's been important for me to have a quieter life in a natural setting.

Saturn is in my 12th house but conjunct my ascendant by 2 degrees. There are lots of oppositions with it in my chart, including with my sun.

An astrologer told me that if I had tried to have the life of a party girl, I probably wouldn't be alive now, because I'm "Saturn's Child" and if the responsible Saturnian energy isn't heeded, you have a terrible time, like some people have during their Saturn return. It's believed to be a teacher, a quite personal one, and will only be intolerant and crack the whip if you don't take responsibility for yourself.

My Saturn return was good. I made some important and better choices and felt freer in life, and younger. I got hit a bit after that, but recovered more quickly than I thought I would.

that's interesting. indeed I also feel like you have to become friends with incorporate yourself with Saturn, as if you don't it will always be a burden. you feel like you can't live freely, because in the back of your mind you know theres something that needs to be fixed.

and the interesting thing is, for me, that since I started taking responsibility, the area of the house my Saturn's in becomes less restricted.
it seems as if the house Saturn's in is
like the place where you'll want to ignore it the most, but where Saturn talks to you the loudest, when you do.

Saturn in Aquarius on 4th house.

Opposite Jupiter (0 orb)
Sextile Moon (4 orb)
Bi-Quintile Venus (0 orb)
Trine ASC (9 orb 😢 )

Yeah.... Felt like I nothing but troubles and unworthy/failure to my family.
And felt like they regret having me.
that's bad to hear.. 😢 the Jupiter opposition looks most interesting to me though. how's 10th house life ?

you feel like you're leaving your family behind when you try to personally expand don't you? and the opposite as well ?

That's great insight! I can see how that has happened in my life too wtih the house Saturn is in (12th). Sometimes my dreams will speak the loudest to me, to wake me up literally to the reality of what I need to do, and they will be so bold and unpleasant there's no way to ignore them. Then fortunately I usually try to take action so the worst won't come to pass.
