Virgo man told me we could start again but then pulled back. what to do?

Hello2 days ago I had a talk with my virgo friend- my ex.
I asked him why we brok eup and he told me we could start seeing each other again - because he is not that busy now.
next day at work he behaved weirdly was weird, acted like a child in front of the others, was so loud and not funny.
yesterday he was ignoring me at a party. said HI but didnt even approach, i thought he was scared of me so i didnt approach him......
what to do?
he said those words for real?
what i should do?
wait?
wait for his move? i told him everuthing it was my move to asked him... should i write to him ?yesterday i felt so bad, being ignored even like a unknown person. was nice to the others, to me not- didnt even talk to me..
does he needs time?
It seems like you have a male frienemy. I read your post history. I know you get a slightly sinister feeling from his behavior. This behavior does not a good husband, father, life partner make... not even a friend.
His behavior is extremely off putting. You two seem very immature for your ages.
The way you have been processing your interactions and experience with him makes me scared for you in any relationship.
Hesitant, unsure of his choice.
Not ready
or is it common to a Virgo because he 'is thinking' and analysing now??
Should I give him time to think and do what I need to do or what?
