Yod's in Charts-Natal/Synastry etc...

HEEEEELPPP! 🙂

I have a few questions about Yods. I have been trying to do some research online and have not found much information out there about Yods.

I have one in my natal chart and I am struggling with finding out more precise details.



It involves

Libra Uranus 13° (r) in 11th
Satrun Taurus 15° in 6th
and moon16°24 and venus 15°57 in Sag 1st. ( Moon and Venus are conjuct), it might just be one of those, but i think it's both.

Saturn is the focal point from what i have gathered.. but i also read something about the opposing spot in the chart is the focus? so the 12th house? I read also that the slower moving plants may not be used in these, which Saturn woudl apply? Why does it show a yod then?


I get that there are things/events/transits that can trigger it.. i just am looking for more details, perhaps it just isn't available.

2nd part of this. what does it mean to have a yod in a synastry chart? I found some info on composite charts with yods but not synastry.. is it just tossed out?

what? my moon and venus? i still have a yod even if you drop one.. i didn't put the green dashes in, astro.com did.

ohhhhhhh okay and here i thought i was special with the finger of god! 😭

Why would astro show it then? I got all ecxited for NOTHING!

@littlemegabyte I think you do have one.. but i am not 100% on these..

i haven't seen anything about the 1 - 1.5 degree thing that Ands mentioned. @tiziani is the one that mentioned the Yod in my chart to me a few months back.. hence why i started researching it. I really hate pestering him for all his astro knowledge... I'm learning what i can about this stuff on my own until i get stumped. Hence the thread!


What i came across : Yod is a rare astrological aspect that involves any three planets or points in the horoscope that form an isoceles triangle. This phenomenon occurs when two planets are sextile (60° aspect) to each other, and both are then quincunx (150° aspect) to a third.

I have one in synastry with my sister. And this guy I had a crush on.

Do they apply in synastry? i have read conflicting info on that..

if they do, i have one with someone and would love any site that could give more details on them.

So my Yod is at

13 degrees 8' Saturn
13 degrees 14' Pluto
14 degrees 52' Jupiter

?

This stuff is confusing as all get out.

yea that was the one i was seeing.. but im soo new to learning about these. wish the more "advanced" peeps would chime in

this part was what got me confussed TBH.. so since saturn 6th is the apex ( i think it is) it's my opposite so 12th?

if that were not true I had a yod pointing at change and dominance. Uranus and Pluto, the Scorp ha it with Saturn in Aries, our synastry had it at Mars & Jupiter in Virgo and finally our Kombin had it in Venus in Aries in the 9th house (opposite house were 2nd: self-growth and material gaining)

Changes as well as power struggles have of course been building my fate (but also higher learning). As bondage, drive and goal.

Lol thanks for all the info Dwelling! I googled for 3 days and only came across limited repeated info.. Granted I didn't try super hard to dig deep!
