Aquarius x Cancer

I dated an Aqua when I was in middle school. He cheated on me. I wouldn't mind dating another Aqua if he could be faithful AND loyal.

Aqua's and Cancers have an attraction for each other. I think it's that opposites attract. Feminine vs Masculine. In fact the astrologer Linda Goodman (I found her to be biased against Cancers) says they are good for sex and love. But not marriage. My Cancer brother was married to an Aqua woman for 37 years until she died of Cancer.

I was with an Aqua forever and a month. They are very adaptable for a fixed sign. His Venus in Aqua/Venus trine Uranus worked nicely with my Venus square Uranus/Uranus in the 7th. I think Aquas are attracted/confused by our emotion and in return we can see thru their struggles with that kind of expression.

He was all Air/Earth while I am all Fire/Water. Truly.. an opposites attract relationship

This. That's why i dont really trust astrologers who have biases. I've read Linda Goodman and she's very charasmatic, sounds extremely smart and very influential in her writing. However, it's very easy to read her biases on signs. Which is a turn off for most who can sniff it out. Although, i will give her some benefit of the doubt that she has always stressed "it's more than sun signs" But she probably never guessed how much impact the filler of her writing has on people who contribute alot on the stars, or have a difficult time detaching from this aspect.

Every astrologer has always stressed that. But people do not seem to detach from the sun because, in society, the patriarchial position is the "sun", while in ancient society, the matriarchial position used to be dominant (the moon), and to me, neither is dominant. Like in a family, both parents have responsibilities. They are very/equally important: egalitarian. And that's not to mention the fact that it's all opinions and biases. We're all human so we're going to have some inner bias no matter what. We try so hard to get away from prejudices, and sometimes, whether astrology itself or astrologers realize it, they have a difficult time being objective.

How can one be objective, like a science or history text book for a school? These writers seem so boring but they try to get the "facts" straight so that students learn the right way, albeit not the most exciting way. I don't know how many times I've fallen asleep reading long drawn out text books. Most people want to read fanciful beautiful things, like the way Shakespeare writes (his poetry ectetra, or the way Sylvia Plath writes - it's gorgeous! she has a libra moon/venusian soft and light quality and scorpio intensity sun and she lived in a different time.)Difference is that shakespeare writes about human nature, in a dramatic alluring, yet mystical way.

Anyway, astrology is somewhat nice to understand some of our quirks, but it isn't the entirety of everything. Too much basing on this very opinionated soft science is not reality. So finding the right balance is great. and that in itself is very hard.

I agree with all of the sentiments expressed above! Thank you so much! Believe me - Finding this particular breed of Aquarius is a very tough thing to acquire. The other two Aquarian men had problematic placements. One wanted to fly away from everything, but struggled with massive internal conflict whilst the other treated his relationship with women like exploits and fussy short term investments. I do NOT recommend this combination unless someone can recognize the importance of the 4th, 7th, 8th and 12th Houses and Juno, Vesta and Lilith asteroids.

im an aquarius and i dont know what it is with this cancer man i'm hooked, we've met several times and its always been intense, we've slept together and then its like i dont exist, no text (well he'll text back after i have sent 2/3 over the course of a few days but i dont want to be pushy) no phone calls and then a few weeks later, hes back saying things like he wished i hadnt moved so that we can date properly, that im marriage material etc etc. am i just being stupid is he just using me, we get on really well, astonishingly so and he hugs me like he's a starving man and never wants to let go and its a complete contradiction to how he acts when we're not together. i really like him but havent told him how i feel because i'm scared he'll reject me it hurts that he doesnt contact me as it is. sorry for hijacking but i need help xx
