Awkward cancer

I too am a cancer and I really like this guy and we get along very well,but how do I know if be really likes me? It's honestly confusing because he's nice and all but jokes way too much and sometimes it can be rude? Does anyone have any advice on how to attract a cancer guy or what are the signs they aren't into you?
