Listen, ignorance is widespread and that isn't going to change overnight, as I'm sure you are all aware. Everyone, as far as I'm concerned, reserves some assumptions about other groups of ppl, whether or not they are baseless. Competition is a basic drive among humans and an underlying motive in our daily interactions. It requires that we rank/separate ourselves...define ourselves by that which we are not. If we were not compared by color, or gender, ....it would be height or eyecolor or something else superficial. That's never going to change, imo. Because if it did....what would be the point of living? It would be a Utopia.


Also, WE ARE NOT FIGHTING! Mature people can have a difference of opinion w/o it being automatically labeled as fighting. Just because we aren't all tossing around lovies and singing one another's praises, doesn't mean we're full of anger. It's called being real, and discussing real issues.
