Cancer and Gemini.

I thought this combo was a HELLLLL NO! However, after talking to 3 couples who have been together for 20+ years and are still CRAZY about each other. I looked into their signs....all 3 were Gemini men with Cancer women. Was not expecting that.

Thoughts?

The only way I've found it works is if the Gemini is Cancer dominant. Otherwise, I actually know a few Cancers who abhor Geminis and vice versa lol

Geminis are way too clingy! Not sure why they say Cancers are I've never met another crab that's clingy

I love Gemini.. especially with Cancer Venus is just the right amount of sensitivity and emotions. I gotta have that playfulness and witty banter, who better then a Gem? And i can't even tell they have 2 sides because I have double that ?

not always, they have to have strong TAURUS in their charts too.

I'm a cancer and taurus dominant gemini. And my dominant planets are moon (taurus)and venus (cancer). My best friends were always cancers and taurus. In the first stages of getting to know a cancer it has always felt like we already knew each other for ages. I feel understood by cancers. But the more we get to know each other the more I feel like we are truly different people. In turns out that most of the times I'm way more emotional than the cancer and way more careful in hurting other peoples feelings. Cancers can have an out of my way attitude when they are goal oriented. But do expect you to be there when they get back to you.

I get surprised on how tough and harsh a cancer can be. Then along the way I lose the connection we once had, because I don't seem to recognize them anymore. While once upon a time, the connection was so magical. Besides im a cuddler and touchy, feely. Cancers are emotional but not so cuddly(at least the ones I have met) and are very picky in who they allow to touch, hug, kii cuddle them. Even with friends.

When my cancer friend was pregnant she told me that if she would have a girl she would name her after me. She had a boy. We've lost touch. Once in a while I send her a text, but Ive given up, because she's absorbed in her family life which I understand.

Gemini/cancer dynamics can be very special. Geminis go after what they want and we are not shy in holding back our loving feelings. It's more that the cancer doesn't wannt to allow us in and can actually be more detached than a gemini. Especially when with Venus in Gemini.

Interesting perception on this ? I get what you are saying though... Cancers don't like to express their emotions soo much. My Gem is always the one to bring up anything mushy related to our relationship. He's Cancer Venus, Pisces Moon, Leo Mars. We have the same Myers brigg excep I'm an ENFP and he's an ESFP. So the way we view life and some decisions is a bit different but in a good way I suppose ?

You make so much sense, I also think Crabs are so detached I've known at least 15+ and all of them are like that.

All the Gemini's I've known are always reminiscing of the time we spent a year ago, a month ago, even if it's a fortnight saying how much they miss me and dwelling... but I feel nothing even though I care, but I would always make time for them if needed. Gemini's can be needy not sure if people realise that. However they are great conversationalist and fun being spontaneous.

Im a leo mars as well. When I get to know cancers, we are at the same gear, gear one. I once fell in love with a cancer and I freaked the cancer out, because all of a sudden I was in fifth gear?. I got the door slammed in my face and it hit me hard.

Looking back I feel bad, because the cancer didn't expect it and probably didn't know how to deal with all the attention and love I gave. I am now hiding away, because I feel so embarassed.

Awe well time and experience can help in this instance lol. Some guys who come on too strong do scare me but I think it was just bad timing and not the right person.

It'll require a lot of love and compromise. Gemini likes to communicate. Cancers are not very good at it. Gemini's idea of love is being around the person they like as much as possible whereas Cancers will find that suffocating and will often need their own space, which is hurtful for the Gemini. Cancer likes to take their time out on their own without letting anyone know what's going on, which is a big no-no for Gemini because it makes them feel neglected. The problem is, this is when the Gem feels like they need another person to talk to for attention and the Cancer won't like that.

Maybe as a casual friend. Even then the Gemini needs to learn not to take some of the more abrasive things that Cancer say to them to heart.
