Only rarely do I come across an astrology site that doesn't advise Cancer to "Run, goddammit, RUUUUN!" from Capricorns, who are basically described as the Devil when he's being an @sshole.

I'm a Capricorn woman, and while it does amuse and tickle me to read desctiptions like "Scorpio in a suit," for the most part, I feel we get a bad reputation. Actually, no, not a bad one. Just a really freaking insanely boring one. Most of the time, I feel most astrologers make the same mistake a lot of people do with Capricorns: They fall for the smoke-screens. Capricorns are some of the tricksiet people I know. The bastards.

I consider myself to possess too many working synapses to put 100% stock in anything outside my own personal experience, but, astrologically speaking, I was wondering if there were any Cancers out there who had "successful and healthy" relationships with Capricorns?

Do Cancers and Capricorns complete each other, or just contain what the other finds repulsive? Or both?

(No, I don't plan my life around astrology, but I find it very interesting. Capricorns are horny goats? Spot on! 😛)

@ABCR2: I've never actually known a Cancer man romantically. The one I did know happened to be gay, so of course we were just friends. Shame because he had this sensitive but strong thing going for him, and I find that very attractive.

@looneybird: My best friend in high school was a female Cancer. We didn't like each other at first, but when that initial repulsion was over, we were as thick as thieves. Our friendship didn't last though. My fault because I didn't like the sense of "mothering" I got from her. And I felt she knew too much about me. Strange and stupid, but I felt out of control around her which is scary for people like me. But I think I'm going to look her up again.

It's funny, as I get older, all the things I disliked about Cancers are the things I really want in a man now.

My best friend is a cancer. But when I first met her in junior high we almost fought in the school yard!(which ended up being a he said she said mis-understanding). Then in high school we had every class together and we ended up being extra extra close. The best friend I've ever had. 7 years since that day in the 8th grade school yard and were still best friends and we always laugh about if we had ended up fighting. She tries to mother me also, which is ok most times...but I'm also quite bossy in a less direct way....so I win. :-)

Cancer men....well hmmm sexy as hell...but I couldn't consider any that I've met for anything more than sex. a lot of them pretend to be people that they are not, and they seem to know that I see through all that and they go away on they're own. However a significant portion don't seem to understand what "I'm not interested" means and the more you ignore them and try to get them to leave you alone the more the harder they try. Yet one once I really liked a cancer guy and I showered him with all my time and attention....he just couldnt care less. But again theyre are several cancer women in my life, 3 of my female friends(though they dont get along with each other), my mom, my grandmom, my cat (yes I know my cat's sign):-)
