That's exactly it!!! You can NEVER compete with a Cancer man's mother!!! Her cooking is better, her jokes are funnier, even the "nail polish she uses is better than the one I use!!

Don't take me wrong, I truly believe men should respect and love their mothers, but what about when they tag on their mother's skirts during a relationship AND their mothers well being takes precedence over your future wife's well being?

Well my ex is an early June cancer and I've just learned that he is heavily influenced by the moon so I think his Moon was who he gave his first attentions to. One day sweet and attentive, next day cold and critical. His mother was not mentioned that much actually.

I don't think that all Cancer men are close to their mothers, but I DO think that most have a "mommy" complex.

As in, they want a woman to treat them and accept them as their mommy would.

To allow them to do whatever, forgive them endlessly, overlook their flaws, forget any problems, treat them as gently as a baby, etc.

Imagine what you would have liked from your favorite imaginary mother(dessert before dinner, never getting into trouble, given whatever you ask for, allowed to stay up and out as late as you want but lots of hugs and kisses and "so happy to see you" when you get in) and you see what a Cancer man wants.

Very true about the blunt thing and not letting them make you their mother- I actually told my Cancer that it was disgusting, lol. He got my point.

I have noticed that with Cancer men you do have to have a backbone about you- they will test you to see if you have one or not.

It's so funny- the other night I tried to get my Cancer to explain how his moods change to tell me what it's like- he just kept smiling and saying that he didn't know what I was talking about- doing that side way shuffle walk that they do- being indirect/aloof but I kept telling him that he knew and to "tell me right now!" lol.

I always ask him to tell me what it's like to be him to be in his head and he just smiles. I really don't think Cancers can explain it or can you?

I mean I change moods but not on a constant basis like that.

lol- my Cancer gets that way too- shy and all goody goody when you mention his mom, lol. I actually used this as my "weaponry" one day when we were arguing- I told him to think how his mother would feel if she knew he was acting the way he was and that she didn't raise him that way- it really got to him.... hehe but hey it stopped the fight🙂

Yeah and I believe you when you say it took A LOT for him to say that. Not something they like to outright admit or reveal about themselves- especially being a man but it's what makes them different in a wonderful way. I as a Pisces need someone who can be that feeling and understanding but yet guarded about it and uses it to understand and to love me only- not to reveal to just anybody.

Our greatest weapon is the "aloof dream world" front. I can read people's true or fake intentions like a book- gift and a curse.

i hated being smothered by my mother. it was embarrassing; i felt like i never had any freedom, and even as much as i love her, i don't feel like i need to see her regularly. this might have to do with my sag rising... but i dunno. of course, i didn't realize how much i loved her until she was admitted to the hospital when i was in 10th grade.. i was a wreck for weeks.

Start having more sex with him.....train him like a dog to know that when he comes home, there will be an encounter.....we (cancer guys) love that......besides....mom can't out do THAT---I don't care HOW good her damn cookies are lol...

If you tell yourself that you'd like to remember them before falling completely asleep you will (or so I've read) I have a lot of entertaining and crazy dreams! Lots of everything. I'll dream of the devil, strange beings, what I think was an angel or guide once, cartoons, far away lands, deserts, jungles, ghosts, mysteries... one of my fave was a beautiful red sky and the sun and moon fighting each other, it was awesome.. kind of like the gods going at it. I'm usually a hero in my dreams too lol I also do a lot of lucid dreaming.

Everyone has dreams. I don't think remembering them is an indication of whether you're a deep sleeper or not.

As for what can't be deciphered, not interested. Not of any use to me. It's impossible to *know* a persons thoughts, cancer or not. I learn how a person works. I know what works for him, he knows what works for me, we know what works for us. Badabing badaboom badabam 🙂 In addition to that you get a FEEL for the person. If you're hiding something 'undecipherable' I might not know what it is but I will catch onto it. The good, the bad and the in between. Doesn't mean I'll jump on it, it's simply.. like a different type of knowledge. There's times when you can even predict something that you would *reason* is very unexpected of them, yet it happens or is going on.. thoughts, actions, whatever. I can't explain it.
