Difference between friendship/love for Cancer Man
He's still not over his ex, please let him heal further and then see where it goes. .Right now you're just filling a void or just a rebound that he hasn't slept with for lack of better words.

Why don't you sit down with cancer man & you clearly let him know that you would like to take another step further with him (to commit or whatever it is you expect)? He may have been passive because of what you said before & just going with your flow
