Do cancers hold grudges?

I didn't call a cancer girl friend when I said I would & she is being short with me now - do u lot get mad over these sort of things?

Yes, sometimes, but we get over it real quick if you are sincerely sorry..

I would say, few cancerian guys are vindictive and are sadistic in nature.

yes cancers will hold grduges, cud get vindictive and be even sadistic. But but ..it all depends on WHO is that poor soul who has crossed them.

The reason she is mad is because we value truth and people who do what they say they are going to do over anything else.

One of the biggest problem with me and Mr. Pisces was him doing that very same thing. He would call and say he was on his way and not show up all night. My whole thing was...if you can't come that's fine...just call me and tell me so. Don't leave me hanging waiting on you when I could be doing something else. But since you are a friend, she should get over it pretty quick and not hold a grudge but try to avoid doing that in the future...Even a 2 sec. call saying you are really busy and will get back with her will prevent bad feelings in the future.

that is so true, counts for me too! And it's important to make sure she knows you didn't do it on purpose 🙂

In the other hand, Cancers can easily fall into a grudge without even knowing, and becasue we don't like to change our minds too readily, and to that, add the fact that there was a problem to begin with...yeah, it aggravates the whole situation. But hopefully is just a minor thing.

A very annoying part of being cancer is their inability to get over past hurts. Even if they go along in life, that past will keep on haunting them. However this quality does have a beneficial side. This is something that make them to stay close to their family. It makes them value tradition. The past hurts will affect their current relationship if the current love shows a characteristics similar to the previous ones. It is old tapes rewinding if they see a similar pattern. The way their parents handled situations becomes a major frame of reference in their future behaviour whether they had any previous record of bad relationship or not.
