"Kylo" appears to be based on a name used in an 1993's Image Comics series 1963.

"Sky Solo" is an obvious reference to "Skywalker and "Solo"

Remove the "S" from Sky, you get "Ky"

"Ren" comes from Renegade (think about Ren's character and the "Knights of Ren" organization, which he belongs to,
and the so-called Naziesque "First Order" which may be quasi-modeled on the first Reich, but reaches further back in

I know it's Han, but I"ve had the bad habit of calling him Hans since I was little. I grew up watching Star Wars. It's not much different than my habit from childhood of calling spaghetti "basghetti". Yep, I still call it basghetti if I'm not paying attention.

Anyway, go see the movie, it was great. Also, yes, the moment when HAN touched his son's face was very deep....it was cry worthy (cause I'm a sap). Love is all.

Carrie Fisher is a Scorpio and I think that is why the romance worked so well in the original movies. Scorpios will embarrass a Cancer in public if it brings them power but its not done in a malicious way but a Scorpio will call you on BS. Cancers just gotta understand by putting up with this Scorpios will let you see their vulnerable side and in many cases its just as vulnerable as yours. It was nice to see in the new movie that the evolved Cancer and Scorpio worked so well together even though they didn't work out in romance. They respected each other for what each person brought to the table.

As for their so I can see a Scorpio/Cancer offspring being like how Kylo Ren was. Power hungry but super emotional and torn.

If I was Han Solo I would have let me son know I love him but if he had to kill me to overcome his personal demons than so be it.

Also Scorpios can be the funniest people in "the galaxy" when they get on a roll

Lacking n depth n connection between characters . Even between scorp n cancer seemed shallow

Hans (Fleet Manager - he was Russian, looked like Sean Connery in Hunt for Red October)
Bill (Terminal Manager - he was Mafia, like Joe Pesci's character in the Goodfellas kind of way )
Terry (Fleet Dispatch - he was a "softie" in the George Zimmerman, kind of way - he wanted to be called "Terrance" but everyone called him "Terry")

Anyway, the joke went: Sit on Bill, drop a Terry and wipe my Hans"

Kylo Ren has his momma's temper. People who bitch about him didn't pay attention. He's an apprentice. He had just betrayed Luke. That's why Ginger General was being a bitch to him. He's still a newb.

And he's supposed to be a rager. He has gone Sith. They have no control of their emotions unlike Jedi.

I think he surpassed Grandpa V.

What is bizarre is my x said I don't listen to her, this am.
Several weeks ago, maybe a month ago, she says she is cat sitting for a friend.
She texted a couple of days ago something about "oh it's a beautiful day and I fed the cats"
This morning I said "I didn't know you owned a cat"
She said You don't listen to me!
I said I don't remember things...
I really have a bad memory nowadays.
I told her she wasn't the only one who gets mad at me for it.

Well.... anyway.

PS, I'm glad she mentioned the cats' owner. I'd of forgotten her name, too.
