harley quinn and the joker a cancer and capricorn love story

SPOILERS *(for suicide squad)...

regardless of how people felt about the movie...most could sense the chemistry from the actors that played harley quinn and the joker , Margot Robbie July 2, 1990 (age 26), a cancer and Jared Leto Born: December 26, 1971 (age 44), capricorn ...I know that the they were playing established characters but it was interesting to see cancer's version of harley quinn and capricorn's take on the joker and how their love story played out

what were your thoughts on this?

side note: heath ledger is still the BEST joker 😄

I skipped most of your post because I wanna watch the movie 😄 but... I am super curious about Jared Leto's joker... Didn't watch anything.. Trailer.. As to not spoil the surprise... I was so excited when I found out he was playing him....

As for heath... Hard to beat... ?

the joker is madly in love lol, i dont know if it the choice of jared leto or the realisator, but the scene in the night club, when is only staring harley, that stare DEFINITLY capricorn

I thought so too....and the end scene where the witch makes them "see" what they really want and harley quinn and joker were married with kids is pure cancer

yea she had a lot of options her character harleen quinzel was an accomplished psychiatrist and beautiful....she could have any man she wanted ...yet she chose the joker

I loved it! They're both crazy, and even though she seemed to have it all as a "normal" person, I think she was always a bit crazy inside, and Joker helped her tap into that, pushed her limits and she wanted him to do that. The scene where he's surrounded by knives while he's plotting how to get Harley back there are baby clothes on the edges of the circle, so he's dreaming of a family almost as much as Harley is.

She was willing to die for him when he made her into Harley, and she was willing to live for him. Cancer loyalty at its best.

Not really. He loves that others lust after her, then he kills them if he suspects them of disrespecting her. I think he likes watching her use her seductive prowess on others, likes to watch her taunt and flaunt.

It's not their future that they see. The Enchantress gives them visions of what they want most, hinting that she can give them these things. Joker isn't there when that happens, but Harley sees her and Joker living a normal life, living in a house, both not crazy, and having kids. With the Joker scene he's in the middle of a circle of his toys (knife and gun collection) and a bunch of candles and on the outskirts of the circle there are baby outfits laid out. He's obsessing about how to find Harley and rescue her from prison.

huh? lol ...the story of harley quinn and joker is this ...the joker is an insane criminal locked away in a mad house ...a physiatrist ,dr. harleen quinzel was brought in to help him ...but she ended up falling in love with him ..and leaving EVERYTHING behind to live a life of crime with him ....and become harley quinn..

lol yes/no.....because the movie isn't really all about the relationship between those two, but it does play an important side part of better explaining the relationship and also the origins of how Harley became what and who she is. You have to be a little bit of a comic geek for the subtleties of some of the things in the movie. In the comic books, Harley doesn't make an appearance until 1990, and she didn't even have a back story yet. Fans loved her so much that the writers have had to make her character more of an integral part of the DC universe. On the surface the relationship seems simple and abusive, but the twists the two of them have together, the way she's devoted to him and he's devoted to her even though he tries not to be.....there are facets of some much deeper issues going on, not just the fact that both are crazy. It's interesting to watch the complexities even when it's given on a seemingly simple platform like comic books.

I watched it last night and I didn't like it.

Although it made me miss Toronto seeing as that's where heaps of the scenes were filmed.

There are way better comic movies out there.

Chicks are just digging the Harley Quinn thing. She should of been dressed more like a jester, not a slutty little daddy's girl.

That's the only issue i had with her character in this film.

Yep, the crazy....because it's there but we hide it really well. ~shifty eyes~

I prefer Margot Robbie in Wolf of Wall Street.. you can see her Cancer craziness shine like a light in that character...

Those legssss....

I think the many trailers they released before the actual screening kind of ruined it for the film.

The trailers overhyped the film and created expectations, hence the disappointment.

They also had massive production issues and a crazy director.

The movie was very disappointing.. me and my Taurus boyfriend weren't intrigued at all.. and were a Huge fan of All of the characters.. It just didn't cut it for me.. First of all, the old Joker was wayyyy better (R.I.P)..... This Joker guy I find a bit Pretentious.. Harley was decent, but still disappointing... Will Smith was decent but still disappointing.. They are suppose to be True Rebels and bad assess.. Why are they working for the government in this one? It just doesn't do it for me, maybe for others but this movie did not bring out the TRUE Characters.. it was almost like drinking watered down alcohol. Not my cup of tea. I'm Disappointed .

we haven't seen it yet but seen several trailers, when we get back we'll go see it, but we just aren't as "motivated" to go see it.

I think my husband and his buddies were more motivated to go see "Sucker Punch" with Emily Browning in it than this film. they're like, ehh, ok we'll go see it cause its another super hero (but not really super hero) film.

even more to see the other super hero film, with Chloe Moretz in it.

edit - I think because of the "Innocence"....men LOVE innocence. you notice that— they don't like slutty girls.
