How do you Manipulate?

I have a cancer friend that I feel is trying to manipulate me (they are very good if they are). Soooo, I was wondering if any of you would be willing to post things you have done to manipulate people. Please!! Doesn't matter to me if it was a friend, family or significant other your story is about.

My little niece is a Cancer. She's only three, and she's VERY manipulative already and VERY dramatic.

Yes! Cancer's are extremely manipulative. I can't quite figure it out tho. They can be manipulating to use you or just to see how loyal you are...it's a massive catch 22. Good luck and let me know what you come up with.

It's funny, I thought I wasn't really manipulative at all but after reading everyone else's, I see it. I don't even realize I do it, though!

Growing up I definitely used my taurus sister's more outward obvious misbehavior as a way to fly under the radar and do whatever I pleased with no trouble from anyone because I was such an angel in comparison.

I think now I tend to just play naive... doing things the way I choose to do them, even though I may know there could be a negative outcome but carefully walking the line so TECHNICALLY no one can say I reeeallly did anything wrong.

I think we're good at that sort of thing without even realizing, making it even more difficult for other's to put a finger on it.

Well I would have to go by wat had happen to me in the piss or wat I have seen.

A sag I no she goes a round starting shit then when u come to her straight up about wat she did or said her response is yes I said or did that but I didn't mean it that way,then she goes to say how long u new me. Why would I mean it that way when u are like this and that (giving me complements) then she goes on talking as if she above all the shit she says,by saying I have grown kids,I have grandchildren,my response is if u above all this then why u said anything in the first place.

A libra I new the biggest manipulator I have ever new,she do several things,one of them was name already,she acts like every one overract when they have a issues ,if u tell her a bout your issue with her or anything other then her ,her response is dnt
worry a bout it.or she look act u like who care,y this is important,bshe would look at u with a stone face.but when tables turn around she tell everyone about her issues y me, she says.she bring up how she goes to church and do all these godly things . She tells everyboby her issue wanting them to feel sorry for her and to see thing her way when most of the time she the reason she in to watever issue it is. She just have no remorse for no one but her self.

A taurus getting defensive, one dude I realize if he didn't like wat I said he would manipulate the conversation by pulling things out that don't have to do with the conversation example;we had conversation about marriage and beliefs ,this taurus dude is about to get marriedand ask me why me and my boyfriend didn't get married yet well I told him that it not for me right now and how somethings I need to get straight with my life b4 I make that step,as he was question me I realize he was getting upset,out the blue he says wats wronge with u ? Do u have selfesteem issues ,did your family give u enough support? He just started asking all these question wit out waiting for a answer. I think he felt unease with his situation . With taurus any time u debate with him he pull things from other places to manipulate the sistuation

I laughed so hard at this because everything you listed is completely true. My sister and BFF are both Cancers and god help me they do this too!

My ex was a cancer and that was so dead on that I swear you must know him. He would even cry. Like real tears. I was a human ATM machine. It was horrible. He didn't have anything. No car, no job, no morals...but he was so HOTT !! It's sad really when I think about it. Someone should have kidnapped me until I came to my senses. I just couldn't say no.

Just to clarify, I don't do this. A certain crab I know does. (I also know an Aries who is very good at this and used to do it regularly, but not so much anymore).

Hey Twin...At first I felt really petty when he would ask for something. Like it's only $ 10 or $ 15 dollars. What woman would not give her man $ 10?

I was dollared to death over a period of 5 months. LOL

If you have ever been "dollared to death" in any denomination, it makes you really question your self esteem. I would have never guessed I had esteem issues (I'm a LEO ) 🙂 but I certainly must have.

It's all good you can't have a testimony without a test and boy did I learn from that one.

I dated a guy who didn't graduate HS, with no job and no car. Then dated a guy with no job, no car, and a crazy alcoholic mother.

I think thats why I told the man I'm dating now that I wouldn't date a unemployed guy without their GED and pursuing higher education, AND without a licsense. It was much to my surprise when he got his GED, enrolled in college, got his liscence, and got two jobs.

Yay for our hardworking spouses! 🙂 We derserve them and they deserve us! 🙂
