So my cancer male friend (just a friend) mentioned that it has been 3 months since he spoke to his dad. I asked why and basically his dad did not behave towards a family member the way the cancer thought he should. They talked about it and dad told him "I did what I did and that's it". Cancer said okay and dad thought it was dropped. NOPE!! Dad has been reaching out and Cancer has been ignoring. Saying he would get around to him....eventually.

I attempted to use some logic to explain that when they do speak his dad will be upset with him and that he would probably get upset with his dad because his dad is mad at him. He didn't get it. Why do some of you start stuff and then get mad because people are upset with you— It is maddening I swear. And no matter how nicely I try to put it....like talking to a wall. Anyway....just a cancer male vent for today 🙂.

That bolded part leaves for a lot of interpretation.
Did his dad savage that family member? Treat them badly? Play favorites, etc.?

If ot is one of the above, and the dad was unapologetic, and the recipient didn't have it coming, I could see how a Crab would decide not to communicate

The "okay" in that case would be translated as " fine, if thats the way you're going to be, screw you"

Dad did not agree with another family member's actions and basically stopped talking to the family member. The crab is close to the family member and was mad that Dad stopped talking to him and then stopped talking to the dad on the family member's behalf. He is basically doing what irritated him about his dad! When I tried to point this out I was in the wrong lol. Oh well. They are speaking again now. The crab decided to pick up the phone. He got cursed out by Dad and now they are good 🙂.
