I love my cancer man!!!!

Just when he starts driving me crazy with his cancer ways he does something sweet. Out of the blue he asks me if I had heard the Toby Keith song "Me too" and that he loved it. I hadn't and so I looked up the lyrics and this is what they said:

lol well we just luv em so much that just the fact that they like a romantic song makes our hearts giddy... well no, actually... it's just those first months lol

ahhh. now THIS is funny. cool too. didja know that toby keith is a cancer?!? how funny is that. my guy is sort of like the song. except he will tell me he loves me in this funny lilting way, out of the blue. it's weird. i don't always give him comfort back, i tend to challenge him a little, sometimes i keep the security he craves just out of reach, but he knows i love him.

I really love my Cancer guy, too. Just when you think you have things pegged one way or another, they do something to completely surprise you...like when you're ready to throw in the towel, suddenly they do or say something so perfect, upping the ante...making all the moods, crabbiness and innate secrecy worthwhile. Mine did that this weekend, just as I was ready to give up, he admitted his feelings and hopes for a future with me and I totally gave-in and admitted mine. Almost without thinking. Now of course I'm feeling really vulnerable and scared. 🙂
