Is Cancer guy interested or not?

Okay, first of all I am Taurus/Gem cusp, Taurus Venus (so I love like a Taurus 4real!) There is this guy at work I am really feelin'. Very sweet, VERY quiet. He's been on the job for about a year now and I have finally gotten him to smile! I'm a big jokester at work (Gemini kicking in) and I can keep him laughing, but he is so tight, about all I can seem to get out of him is a word or two and a few laughs a day! I catch him watching me from across the room, but when I talk to him he gets all flustered and starts giggling! What's up?! I don't want to send him into his "shell" even farther by hitting on him, but I can feel the gray hairs sprouting on my head waiting for him to make a move!
by the way: He is a "few" years younger than me (bout 8🙂, divorced a year and a few months ago, has custody of his kids and his ex lives in another state.
He seems to get a kick out of standing really close to me but not saying a word, OKAY THAT KINDA FREAKS ME OUT BUT I LIKE FEELING HIM CLOSE TO ME AND MIGHT BE FEEDING OFF THE VIBES😉 I try to pull him into whatever convo is going on, make him feel welcomed and all, start all the warm and fuzzy feelings...BUT NOTHING. He just stands there and looks at me and listens to what I'm saying; laughing, smiling, nodding, shrugging..... This has been going on for about 6 weeks now.
Any help would be GREAT!

He's observing you and getting to know you. He doesn't want to say anything because aside form being shy he doesn't want to say something stupid or embarrassing.

AWWW, so sweet... I was kinda thinking the same thing (that he was trying to get to know me on the sly). I've been trying real hard to not change up my " style " to fit what he might want (something I have been prone to do in the past, with horrid results). I tend to try to highlight the characteristics I think might put me in a good light🙂 , but I'm trying not to do that this time around. Just letting "ME" shine through. Take it or leave it.....
It's really wierd for me when I'm around him though. Sometimes it's almost like I can feel his arms around me or I feel this very stong urge to put mine around him. I have felt like jumping a guys' bones or kissing him or even slapping the S**T out of him, but never felt like "hugging him to pieces" 🙂 ! Feels really strange! By the way, I don't think I have ever met a Cancer guy before.... Know I've never dated one. Usually attract Virgo, Cap., Pisces or Gem guys (depending on which of my signs is on the make (Taurus/Gemini cusp here! 🙂 .
