@ Aries. To me, he was probably hurt by the whole deal of you overeacting so he is proceeding with caution.
But if you like him and he is open to hanging out agian. Go for it and take it day by day.
I know with my Aries on and off friend, she over reacts sometimes and I ignore her, because sometimes that bully stuff dont work with me. It takes awhile for me to warm up back to her.
Just take it day by day and hang out and be cool.

You should be good, you hurt his feelings he lost some trust for you, backed up and waited and watched you, and now he is starting to rebuild that trust with you. Understand that cancers take a LONG LONG time to build up trust and lose it easily. If you want an animal image 😛.
He started poking his head out of his shell, got his claws relaxed started to poke out more and more and then he got smacked on the head (poor little guy 😛). So he popped back into his shell and started peaking his head out to see if it would get smacked again. Now he is getting comfy popping his little head out again and he is less worried about getting bopped on it again. 🙂 Easier than it seems now right? 😛
