Sun - Cancer
Ascent - Sag
Moon - Sag
Mercury - Leo
Venus - Leo
Mars - Aries
Saturn - Gemini
Jupiter - Aqu
Uranus - Libra
Neptune - Sag
Pluto - Libra
North Node - Cap

I find myself more comfortable around air signs. I have been intensely attracted to Scorpio, Taurus and Virgo. My most difficult breakups have been with Aquarius, Leo and Libra. I thought that dating earth signs would be better but it seems they never get off the ground even if our charts are compatible. Any insight into my chart? Thank you

Thank you Dazed, I appreciate your input. I am very curious and my ultimate desire is a Scorpio. So something like this:

Scorpio Sun
Leo/Aries/Libra Ascent,
Leo/Aries Moon (no more sag moons please, we are too emotionally blas? with regards to relationships)
Leo/Aries Venus
Leo/Sag/Gemini Mars.

I would like someone who I think will understand me. But I really want patience and don't want the moodiness, which makes me lean toward earth or at least a Scorp with earth in his chart for stability. I am a bit confused about what men want with regards to Venus. I thought that whatever sign is in his Venus he will want in a woman. So if a guy has a fire Venus and I'm a Cancer sun how do we gel? Even with my fire Venus what does it acually mean? I do believe that the most important planet is Mercury, the planet of communication. I have noticed that when our Mercury signs are not matching the communication is kind of off and I don't feel the freedom of expression.

I met a Taurus with a:

Ascent Leo —
Moon - Sag
Mercury - Leo
Venus - Taurus
Mars - Aries

I liked him but it didn't go anywhere.

I also met a Scorpio don't know his info but here is his birthdate Oct 29, 1973. Not sure of time of birth. He's not the most assertive which is why I don't take him very serious. I like agressive, which is why I find myself dating Aries or Sag.

I think that its worth nothing that whatever sign is in your Venus or Mars is not a direct indicator for what sort of sign is the best for you astrologically. They're only indicators about which signs (or elements) you're consciously attracted to. You've mentioned that you're attracted to men that are aggressive. Basing on your chart, we can conclude that from the amount of fire that you have in you. However, which signs are in your Juno and Vesta? Those placements can help you pinpoint what sort of structure you prefer to have in a relationship and your general loving style .

You and I have the same Venus and that placement basically means that you're very boastful and passionate as a lover. When you're in love, you want to shout their name from the rooftops and you can't keep your love a secret.

What a guy has in his Venus is going to contribute to the sort of women he's drawn to, but that doesn't necessarily mean that a guy having a Venus in _____ will mean that he'll only be prone to dating women with that particular sign. He might admit to having an unwavering attraction to them though.

I've learned from other forums that trying to figure out whats best for you isn't only determined from looking at planets individually. You have to look at your chart as a whole to get a better understanding of it.

The reason that Taurus didn't work out with you might've been because you two were far too similar. You might've not considered him to even be a challenge or anything that was unique. Or it might've not developed because both of your energies canceled out. Sometimes when you meet someone who's that similar to you, there can be attraction, but you might be the sort of person who's best suited for someone that's somewhat different from you in order to create a lasting spark.

Artemis thank you for your input, I have this philosophy, if it's not working, it's not right. There are obviously other factors involved other than astrological signs and natal charts when relationships don't work out. Don't worry I understand this.

As far as my Mars sign I do agree that although I am drawn toward Aries and get along with them to some extent I don't care to live with them or be in a relationship with them. In fact I don't actually find them all that sexually appealing, they are more drawn to me than I to them. I just love the attention.

I missed this part and I absolutely agree. I actually was bored with Taurus and found him too basic. Although I was attracted to him physically the mental stimulation was very poor. Physically we were explosive, but I didn't since that he was right for me. What would give me that difference or spark? Is it the Sag moon or Sag ascents, because these guys all had Sag moons/ascents and there was no spark.

I've always thought it was an interesting chart but felt I was missing something. I am very passionate and energetic with many interests. However, I don't always feel grounded and often feel a duality going on of self criticism. My feminine quiet deeply nurturing energy at odds with the bolder masculine action oriented side. It can be tough to balance. I feel a feminine earth sign somewhere in Saturn or moon would have balanced and stabilized me more. Which is probably why I desire earth/water sign friends and lovers. I feel more at ease and centered when around my Virgo friend as opposed to my Aquarius friend (whom I understand but she's a bit unstable and unrealistic.)

scorpiofish you do realize that male pisces is not female cancers best match, right? male taurus and male scorpio are much better matches because female crabs need stability. when a pisces and cancer date there isn't a whole lot of that.

of course we're talking about long term compatibility. i'm sure pisces makes a wonderful short term match.

You underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity, which is a mistake.

Lol no. Scorchedearth is actually QUITE dead on. Pisces is a secret air sign to me in my opinion because its a very committment phobic sign and is FAR from the stable type. Its very sensitive and creative, which is something that WILL draw a Cancer in, but if the Cancer needs stability, they won't stand for their in-one-day/out-next-day tendencies. It'll freak them out and make them incredibly insecure.

If you personally prefer earth signs, then this is a personal preference. You are not the only Cancer in the universe. There are plenty of Cancers who believe earth signs are as much fun as watching paint dry, and just as devoted to a monogomous relationship as Tiger Woods was.

LOL! I'm obviously not the only Cancer in the universe, but Lunar Maiden's chart's makeup is very similar to mine. We both have an astonishing amount of fire in us. Thats why I'm able to convert my experiences into advice for her.

It isn't just someone's Sun Sign or Mars or Venus that creates chemistry. It's quite a bit.

>If the suns are compatible
>If the moons are compatible
>If the mercury, mars, venus and risings are compatible
>If their 7th Houses (Relationship Houses) conjunct
>If your Juno and Vesta are compatible with what sort of relationship you'd have with that person

^Yeah. In my chart, its highly recommended that I settle with an earth sign, but they honestly bore me as partners. Its amazing sexually, but they don't intrigue me or get my blood pumping. Capricorn men are really attracted to me, but they're too stern. I'm also not into the hypersensitivity and paranoia that Virgos have and Taurus is the only one that MIGHT do it for me if he's packing a lot of fire like I am. I have a serious tendency to develop strong attractions to Cancer men. As a Cancer thats mixed with a lot of fire, I think I'd just be with someone that has my chart in reverse.

Based on Maiden's chart, she COULD technically do with an Aries that has his moon or rising in something water based while the rest of his chart is made up of fire. I think that she MIGHT be able to handle a full on Sag, but I'm not sure if her sun could handle it for very long. Even though the ram and the archer are are both fire signs, its easier to get into the emotional threshold with an Aries than it is with a Sag. She's got a lot of independent signs in her, but she still needs a bit of an emotional current.

Lol! I don't come off as a Cancer because all of my Leo in me gives me an outer persona. In actuality, I'm very sensitive, shy depending on the situation, and can be passive, bashful, overly emotional and am an eternal mother to my friends. I can be generous and loving to a fault, lol. I was asking if whether or not I'd technically be most similar to a Cancer and Leo cusp, and everyone said no because my moon being "at home" in Cancer technically makes that impossible. But most of the time, people perceive me as being sort of assertive and fiery 😆

Yup we are similar. Much of my sentiments in your post. I haven't completely given up on Taurus either. The brief experience I have had is that it's something I would try long-term. I feel so much compatibility with them but if only I could get something going with them. Perhaps all this fire gives me a bit of ego in thinking that Taurus could never satisfy me, so I don't give them a chance. I think the Bull, unless with a lot of fire and air in his chart is much more direct to the point and goes right for it physically. Whereas, we fire crabs are flirty, fiery, playful and can be somewhat combative with our mates then turn around and be kittens. Which the Bull may see as a long-term headache. What do the Bulls think?

I have a feeling that if a Cancer woman has dated mainly fire and air signs it's tough dating earth and water. The dynamics are different, it's like living on the edge and never a dull moment. The mental stimulation is unending with Air Signs. I must have mental stimulation. I also have this yearning for stability, balance and a man that is steadfast, strong yet open minded and flexible. My sister told me my ultimate mate might be a Gemini.

I think I will spend more time with my Taurus girlfriend to get some vibes going. She has been re

I would bet good money that it would work. They are different than us.. very different.. but it just works. DXP'ers tend to not share this opinion.. but to be honest.. I have been there.. and it almost worked but I messed things up.. and she was Sag Sun, Cancer Moon.. and we got engaged and almost got married.. but as I said.. I messed it up.. isnt the sag's fault.. so..if you're a balanced person.. and they are a balanced person.. you would be crazy it you didn't!

+ many Aries Sun Cancer Moon around.
Aqua Sun Cancer Moon

Don't bother with the water signs.. you have a light and bright chart.. don't water it down or bring it back to earth.. let it flyyy.. I don't know why I sound like a hippe today.. but I do.

Maybe you were a hippy in another life. I think it works better when the male is Cancer and the female is Sag. There are statistics to back that up, CanMan is suppose to be a top long-term partner for SagFem. What if this Sag had an earth/water chart, is that ok or worse? Do you think Earth and Water would kill my joy?
