My theory is that he didn't really consider me in that way until I told him how I felt, which was when he saw me in that light and apparently, I'm still under scrutiny. Or it just tickles his ego to know someone likes him; it's probably a rare occurrence since he's kind of just really nerdy with a side of catty and I'm pretty sure he hasn't dated anyone before. I'm not trying to put him down or anything, he's really smart but he's not really what you'd call attractive in any sense so I'm pretty sure I'm the first girl who's told him this.
I still maintain he only 'likes' you because you said you like him.
