Hello, I'm a aqua female "talking" to a cap guy. We've known each other for four years now and finally decided to take things to a more serious level but take it slow (his choice). Our start has its bad and confusing times but when he opens up and when we're together its amazing. I would like to think that we can really be something, we've been friends for a long time, I'm best friends with his brother and we have a lot of the same friends so we're already close but we still have to get to know each other better before we make it official I guess. So if there's any of you out there who are in this match or who have been in this match before, your stories would be really appreciated.

I'm a cap female dating an Aquaurius man. He (as a Cap) will have to be secure with you first before he opens up. And it will be little by little. If you are receptive, he may open up more - the aloofness of the Aqua makes me nervous about putting myself out there. You will have to open up some too. (not saying you are not). Take time, build trust, get to know each other better outside of the established social circle, is my advice. Build the friendship - both signs need this.

There are a lot of Cap women who are with Aqua men who may can give better insight. Of course, also its different between the sexes.

Thank you for your response! I catch him asking questions about my life out of the blue, I answer them but I guess I do need to open up a bit more. Its not that I don't want to I just find myself having those "I should've said this" type moments with him and the words just don't come out . But I'll try to do better. Question..do caps like a lot of space? Because he can go days without talking to me then come back like nothings wrong.

In a lot of ways Caps and Aquas are very similar. Caps are probably more expressive than Aquas, though.

@ metoo, thanx for your response! He says he has no reason not to trust me so I guess it's the opening up part. Got it! Will do. It really is hard for me to be expressive, I listen more then anything and sometimes people have to beat it out of me but I actually WANT to let him in, no question about it. I agree with him weighing things out because he says the reason he wants to take it slow is because his college is far away and long distance realtionships are a big deal and the reason his last relationship ended was because the distance reuined the relationship so I guess he's being cautious.. but I'm okay with it because I'm happy that he even wants to try it again, and do with me. I'm moving a hour away from our hometown and I brought it up and he yelled out "that's another thing" so in my head I'm thinking "is he thinking of the ways that this wouldn't work??"

@truecap I agree, we have similar qualitys..I thought it might have something to do with his bday being jan 17 and mine being jan 25 ..just eight days apart.

I understand that but he suggested a relationship all I asked was what do you see me as and he told me about these unknown feelings, if he thought it couldn't work why tell me all this.
