I just love Cap mothers. Yes, I am biased, but I have the best mother in the entire world. Giving, loving, self-sacrificing, understanding, admirable. The best wife and mother I've ever had the pleasure to know, and she's my Mom. What a lucky hand I was given. She is a true inspiration. Happy Mother's Day to all Moms, but the Caps hold a special place in my heart.

This is so sweet.

My Cappie grandma and Aries aunt are very close. My grandmother is a great mother to my father, aunts and uncles imo. She is everything to our family.

My kids think I'm too serious and too critical. They think I am too controlling and too bossy and ride them to hard about grades, etc. But, that's probably just a teenage viewpoint.

But, they DO know I've got their back and will do anything I can for them.

Thanks.

I always thought I would be the cool mom though - the one who always had snacks and all the friends hung out at your house. Truth be known, in my older age - that entourage of teenagers would drive me crazy! lol! I'll let my Sag friend be that mom. She thrives on being buddies with all the kids. 🙂

Thank you. It's similar to something my oldest son has tried to express but he's a teenage boy so...lol! He was looking at his computer screen and mumbling it to me.🙂 Now that we have 2 teenagers out of 3 boys under our roof, I'll take any compliments regarding my parenting.😄 People never saw me as the maternal type while I was growing up but now the same people have admitted that the "role" suits me very well. Parenting is a responsibility I gladly accept.

Aaarghh! I need to drop the formalities. I can't help my tendency to use Cap typical words, I don't mean them in the typical sense though, but it's a joy, I grow and feel inspired through parenting and I just love being a mother!🙂

Teenagers, huh!? I think I was quite a handfull back in those days and even though I always knew I had a great Mom, I learned to appreciate it so much more and understand the importance as I've gotten older. He mumbled, but he meant it 🙂 Dont teenage boys speak mumble 😄

Yeah, just a teenage viewpoint. They'll get it and be so greatful in the future. It all starts to make sense. Oh, thats why my Mom did/said all those things!

Believe it or not, my Cap grandmas house was the hangout spot, especially for my youngest Gemini uncle growing up. He'd have a room full of friends playing video games, and although my grandma would be at work, when she came home she always went straight to her room anyway. The company never bothered her.

Really, they(uncles, aunts, dad) always had people coming over. Its was six of them, three boys and three girls, so they were popular in the neighborhood and always had friends. My dad and his friends would play basketball in the driveway.

Til, this day she still has a house full. Nearly every Sunday my dad barbque and him and the Gemini invite their friends over to play dominos. Ill talk to my grandma on the phone and she'll sometimes complain about the music being too loud, but thats it, and she knows how to stop the party if she wants lol. Her house has always been open door for us, and friends etc, which is what always made it the place to be.
